Xolo Maridueña, who appeared in the legendary Part 8 of Season 3 (he was the young boy taking the girl out on a date in 1956) and is now starring on Cobra Kai, will be the new Blue Beetle for DC.

Curiously, the last frame is a 2022 Zoom call between Kyle, Laura Dern and Lynch.

Rumors are always swirling about TP but my assumption was anything substantive that could happen was delayed by the pandemic. There are new and fairly serious rumors that Lynch is debuting a secret film he's made during COVID at Cannes (which may have nothing to do with Twin Peaks). We'll see what occurs in future. @DRW50

That's interesting. There were rumors about a premiere of a new Lynch project  at Cannes, but those seem to have been denied.

That's such a crazy story from Molly. 

I  know there was so much speculation about this movie, if it existed, what we would see. I can't wait to find out. Thanks for letting us know.

I will need more info to believe it is Twin Peaks-related, but it's still very exciting. (If it is the project many TP actors seemed to hint at with 'wisteria,' though, that makes me even more excited. Some are part of Lynch's repertory players, but others are very intrinsic to the show.)

Lynch is now denying it (in a strange way), which begs the question of how Variety of all publications could've gotten rumbled:

That is weirdly cryptic, and he is known to fib. I am used to the rumors going nowhere generally, and I only entertain them when he speaks or a major publication does. So my only skepticism at this point is how Variety could've been off, if he's being truthful.
