July 22, 201411 yr Member I don't agree with all of these, but nice to see Looking, Penny Dreadful and Broad City there... http://www.avclub.com/article/best-new-tv-series-2014-so-far-206871
July 23, 201411 yr Member Fox didn't give Surviving Jack (not on the list, lol) or Enlisted a chance in hell. I also thought the Gavin/Stacy rip off with Alexis Bledel and Jason Ritter could have been good so of course they decide to cancel it before airing it. I just don't get the appeal to Mindy or New Girl and I think Andy Samberg is a bit overrated. Sorry for the Fox comedy rant! LOL. Hopefully Yahoo! picks up Enlisted. Good list and I agree with a lot of them. I'm not really fond of Looking to be honest. I don't find the leads at all appealing (not meaning looks wise, just overall). I like Groff though.
July 25, 201411 yr Author Member Looking really divides people--and the "likeability" factor seems to be a big part of it, so no need to apologize. Completely agreed about Fox--and yet they seemed to think Dads or whatever deserved a good timeslot and heavy promo. I was mad we didn't even get to see the Gavin remake as well. It couldn't have been worse than, well, Dads.

July 28, 201411 yr Member Ugh at Vicious being on the list. It's filled with amazing actors, but the script is lousy and the dialogue is ugh. Also it wasn't funny! I loved Penny Dreadful, True Detective and Broad City so am glad to see them there. I also enjoyed Looking, Review and Silicon Valley, but if they made the top 10, you know it's a lean year in televeision...
