This storyline and propping up this failed character for Donna Mills? Really? They could've given her something even more meaty. Personally I'd have kept her evil and scheming, but made her Liz's long-invisible mother, wife to (offscreen) Jeff Webber - a brilliant surgeon or philanthropist and terrifying gorgon come to wreak havoc in her daughter's life and at the hospital. So I'm not disappointed yet. I do like that Madeline's a snotty bitch like I am (sometimes). I liked seeing her talk about how police work is so beneath her and should be below Nathan.
