He played Mark Sanger, per the article, aide to Raymond Burr's Ironside, and the ex-con character would later become a lawyer. He apparently died of natural causes at 70.

Of note, his ex-wife Judy Pace (they were married, per the article, from 1972 to 1986) also played Sanger's wife on the show.

Their daughter, Julia Pace-Mitchell, was formerly on Y&R.

Apparently he was also on Capitol. I didn't know that.

I'm not familiar with his work, but I saw this when Julia posted about it on Facebook. I had no idea that both of her parents were important black actors. I hope one day her acting improves because just from knowing her moms work, she was really fabulous.

I remember him! I used to watch repeats of Ironside. I had no idea the chick from Y&R was his daughter.
