I wonder why Gary Tomlin's name is missing from the Day's writers list.

All the writers who elected ficore status during the last writer's strike are not eligible for WGA awards. Josh Griffith and Paula Cwikly from YR and Tomlin and Frances Newman are two missing from the rosters this year because they are all ficore status.

Jeanne Marie Ford is missing from the nominees too. Gary Tomlin, Fran Myers and Jeanne Marie Ford all wrote for OLTL during the strike, so they are no longer members of the WGA.

Michael Conforti is also a ficore writer and was with YR during eligibility.

Garin Wolf was also with GH for several months under Carlivati but his ficore status prevents him from eligibility as well.
