Members quartermainefan
Quote Karen Black, the bravely offbeat actress who burst into the public consciousness in such iconic counterculture films as "Five Easy Pieces" and "Easy Rider," has died. She was 74. Black, who was found to have ampullary cancer in 2010, died Thursday at West Hills Hospital, said her husband, Stephen Eckelberry. Karen Black achieved cult status and her serious movies aside I think what she will forever be remembered for is this: <iframe width="640" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/jb1p9K8R4Iw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Also, she was part of one the greatest disaster movies of all time, and the template for "Airplane": Airport 75 <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/h-l3wzkCwiU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Members DRW50
Karen was quite a unique beauty, one of those actresses who for a brief time changed how America viewed leading ladies, before we went back to kewpie dolls. You should try to see Come Back to the 5 and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Her sister Gail Brown played Clarice on AW for about a decade. Members allmc2008
I kept thinking that had a Dark Shadows vibe to it then when I saw the end of Part 3 I realized Dan Curtis produced and directed this.
