I just don't want it to be some sort of "your womb is dead" [!@#$%^&*]. I've seen that story on daytime eight thousand times in the last ten years.

I'm trying to think what it could be besides that or an STD/hepatitis.

An STD I could live with. I don't think soaps have dared touch those in a good twenty years.

Is it possible that she gets the news that she was raped and somehow has blocked that out or wasn't even aware?

Is Dr. Anders the doc treating Cassandra?

I'm hoping it's not yet another rape pregnancy, especially if it is one in which the victim just can't bear the thought of abortion. I'd rather have an STD story than a rape/pregnancy story.

I'm desperately hoping that it isn't anything sexual/health related. I'd rather see a story where Angie informs Cassandra that what happened to her is/was uploaded on the internet so that means that for the rest of her life she will need to deal with the fact that what happened to her is available for public consumption. That would be more in line with the PP universe. Plus it would be a good opportunity for Pete to step up and help a childhood friend as well as a chance to humanize Colby by having her go to Brooke/Dimitri as the heads of Chandler Media to do for Cassandra what Bianca did for Miranda (gag order). #AMCFanfic

IIRC in the audition script for Anders he was telling Dixie that Cassandra has to be told (the big thing) soon because time is running out for her to be able to make a decision. My thought at the time was pregnancy, but now I'm thinking it will have to do with her heart and David's invention.

That's likely to happen regardless of any health issues. :/
