nah if a couple is boring and lacks spark then that's not the fault of the writers(well the boring part maybe). Two actors can shine together if they have good chemistry and you feel like their characters just "fit" I don't feel that with her and TJ.

I feel it with her and Rafe

No, I didn't know - I just assumed that he showed up one day as Shawn's whatever (what is he to Shawn, anyway?), took a shine to the only girl in his age range on this show, and filled his airtime quota of the year.

Can't say that I'm surprised, though. After all, this is the same show that wrote a promising young Black female character out to be a cheating whore in order to prop a pairing between Sonny's Similac-breath brat of a daughter and a greaseball clown claiming to be a Spencer that never even came to be.

Remember how well Jesse was written (sigh...Jessie and Angie are the only black couple where we can make reference)? The young misunderstood man from the wrong side of the tracks who couldn't catch a break and then falls for the young woman from an affluent family? No color was needed for this story as it was written just like any other love story on Daytime. Today, in 2013, how many black characters contribute to any story on Daytime? YR gets a bit of a pass.

Ahem...

Neil-Dru-with-his-brother-Malcolm-Dru-s-

(Say what you will about how badly they'd written them in the end, but early Dru & Neil were tops)

I'd post pics of AMC's Derek & Mimi and early Taylor & Terrence (before they had that horrible recast that succeeded Ingrid Rogers dump him to sniff behind & pathetically plot to keep Noah), but SON won't allow me to.

Psst...

On a scale from 1-10 (1 being that Felicia acts all aflutter around Frisco while Mac fades into the woodwork and 10 being that Mac roasts Frisco over the coals for being the true deadbeat dad while a chagrined Frisco realizes that he has much to make up for), how was Mac / Felicia / Frisco?

I'm debating on whether to look those scenes up online tonight.
