I hope it is Kyle. I never cared for "Chance", who is nothing like I expected Phillip IV to be like growing up.

Y&R should have no problem casting a male at least 25-26 years old for Scotty or Chance.

Chance should be that age anyway, and as for Scotty they can still cast someone the same age cause Max Ehrich is only 21. I don't think Scotty has to be that much older then Fen.

Scotty was the one Fenn went to live with pre soras which made me assume that Scotty was at least late 20s

Scotty 25? He seemed slightly older than that when he came to town, back in 2005. The character seemed past college at that point. Id say 22-24ish

ETA: I looked up his bio on Soapcentral and he was aged to 24 back in 2005. Going based on that, he should be 32 at the most.

So then he is in his 30s. I really hope this casting call is for a new Kyle. Kyle definitely should be at Jabot working up the ranks but I can't buy this guy doing anything but sitting around dirnking beer and sexing up hoes.

I don't see why it would be a problem just to de-age Scotty a little bit IMO, Yes Blair Redford was 21 22 during 2005-06 and is now almost 30, but since he is on another show, I don't think it would be a problem to bring back an actor that is at least 26-28 years old.

What's the point of deaging Scotty a few years when he's 30?

The person they hire will still look 30 anyway. Not a big facical difference between 28 and 30 unless the person has gained weight.
