IMO, any other actor who currently has other gigs lined up outside the soap world should steer clear of PP's reboots. If the venture is a go and proves successful, they can always try to jump on the train later.

Rebecca Budig may not be involved because her price tag is too big. Rumor is she wanted 1 million for Y&R, which she didn't get, which is why she didn't end up on the show. She was used to getting what she wanted from Frons.

WGA isn't dragging their heels, but they also won't go easy on PP. This venture is new media, and whatever deal they establish for AMC and OLTL online affects their entire membership. They went on strike before to define new media rules, they won't risk their memberships' rights for these two shows.

I saw this on another board, and think it is a good idea. If SL does agree (and is legal able to sign), she needs to have a special billing such as "And Special Guest Star" Susan Lucci. Additionally, if PP wants DC and JB back, but on a recurring basis, they need to re-title to "guest starring." Recurring in daytime has a negative connotation while "guest star" is more in line with primetime, and elevates the actor's involvement.

I barely know anything about Fath and want her to go away :)

I don't mind Gachet or Madison. They need some Chandlers and having Scott/Madison and Colby (include JR if he is not in Oak Haven or jail) head the next generation of Chandlers would be fine by me. I would want Madison to get some of her edge back, also.

I hope they don't have JR shoot up the room. In light of recent events, it may not be palatable to viewers. I would prefer he shot himself and either(presumed) dead or in Oak Haven. It gives TIIC a chance to get a good recast and reset the character a bit.
