Catfish: The TV Show

Is anyone watching this? This show is hilarious!

Basically people who are dating someone online get set up to meet them and see if they were a fake. I can't believe anyone could be feeling for this in 2012 with Skype and Facetime. SMH!

Tonight's episode was sad/hilarious. It was an exotic dancer thinking she was talking to another dancer with a nice body in Atlanta. He turned out to be some big slob who was pushing 40 who lived not even 20 minutes away.

Michael's old dad was kinda hot.

Anyways the episode was lame. I didn't even get the bitch's lies. That sh-t was SO basic. Like I said, lame

The promo for the reunion was the best part about that boring ass season finale. I honestly felt that Felicia didn't really care for Michael at all, and that's why she kept ducking him. Like, they talked about how she was insecure about her weight/looks, but she'd shown him real pictures, so how could that be the reason why she didn't want to meet in person?

But anyway, the reunion. It better be good!

And I hate to admit it, but I'm crushing hard on Nev.

That mess was the finale? They should have aired this earlier in the season and left the J'amari Van de Kemp one as the last episode

Surprised this is even getting a reunion. Cant wait

Ohhh, so this is the Mhissy y'all have been talking about. Never saw that episode.

Where do I know the host of this reunion from?

I'm so glad I'm watching this because I just realized I've only seen like two episodes. This is like the Prospect Park Friday recap show for me. ph34r.png

I'm having flashbacks to the late '90s/early '00s when folks who went to your same college would see it on your AOL IM profile and just randomly message you. I remember talking to a couple of people, nothing scandalous, but now I wonder who some of those people were and if maybe a few of them weren't even strangers but people who I may have known from school or elsewhere. Hmmm...

The host was SuChin Pak, who's been with MTV News for yeeeears now.

Lee was such a homeboy, one of them "good mens." I wonder if Trina had a problem with the fact that he was probably beating off to her pictures after every conversation.

Duh, brain fart. Thanks.

LOL a/s/l?

Ha, exactly! The first time I got one of those messages I had to ask them what "a/s/l" meant.

Was the guy who was disappointed that his "woman" really was born a female on the reunion show? Would love to see his lying ass get grilled.

I don't think he was but Suchin said a lot of people couldn't be there for the show but they did get everyone online so it'll probably be somewhere on their site. I forget the URL she said.

Mhissy: "Jasmine wrote me on Facebook January 15th and called me a dumb ho and I had to check her about that." laugh.png

"I wanted to, but when she came in my inbox January 15, it changed it. No."

"Check ya'self."

"Shut the f*ck up, girl."
