MG's sexuality is an open secret -- and really, no one's business but her own -- but I am so proud of her for coming out the way she does everything else: with dignity, and with class. God bless her.

Ha!

No shocker, but it's a nice article. Good for her. smile.png

Okay Flannery, you're next!

Well, news comes in threes, right? First Joanna Johnson, now Maureen Garrett, so Susan Flannery could be the next one.

I'd never read any speculation about Maureen the same way most of have about Joanna or Susan.

I just hope she gets a good TV or movie role soon so I can see her again.

I'm hoping Y&R casts her as Phyllis and Avery's mother.

Or Melissa Reeves.

Meanwhile, I don't want Maureen Garrett anywhere near another soap, not even Y&R. These days, they wouldn't begin to know how to write for someone as good as she.

There's only one woman I'd want as Lydia Summers, and it's this lady:

Or, if not her, then this lady:

I could see either one being "married" to Ken Howard's George, as well as going toe-to-toe with MS' Phyllis while defending Jessica Collins' Avery. Plus, in my wildest dreams, we'd learn that Phyllis was actually George's daughter by another woman -- a juicy confrontation and reveal either actress (Donna or Susan) would rock.
