Sounds like it was a cache problem. When your browser cache's a page you visited previously, and you change your avatar, it won't pop up automatically on all pages until a new cache of the site is built into your browser.

LOL...and the question always goes ignored

The thing is though, my avatar works as an animation because it is a picture gif that I made from four different pictures. Video gifs won't work, e.g., that Sable gif I posted that Scotty now has as an avatar.
