And the Nominees are....

I'm thrilled Matt Ashford FINALLY got an Emmy nomination, but I'm sure JJ will win, UGH.

Shelly Hennig did amazing work in her submission, so did Mark Hapka.

OLTL was very unwise with its submissions, I can't believe the Matthew-narrated Thanksgiving episode wasn't a selection. I'm rooting for AMC to win best show. Can't believe "Days" was nominated--DRT & MMcP definitely had their strong points, but they were never able to capture excitement and the poignancy of scenes suffered from everything usually being so underwhelming (and not in an intentionally subtle way, lol). Ironically, the shootout and EJami sex scenes were beautifully directed and lit, and they weren't nominated for directing, they were nominated for best show from that submission, LOL.

WORD. That should easily have been one of their choices for Best Show. As for the other one? I would have picked Todd seeing his family again at the Vickerman premiere, but that's just me.
