I'd be adding more people to interact with Katie and Bill

I would expect Caroline and her siblings will interact with their uncle. Plus Karen is likely to show up now and then if her kids are in LA. I can hope.

I think this is mostly true, and yet has been something soap execs haven't understood since the 80s--what appealed to me as a kid watching soaps in the early 90s wasthe multi generations, etc.

The main worry I have here is Bell talking about focusing on relevency and topicality--Oh dear.

Yep I've seen many teenagers who watch soaps who say they love the older characters & in general dislike the teen/younger characters
