Members I Am A Swede
Since the Eurovision Song Contest has been around since 1956 it is not surprising that we have lost some of the artists that have entertained us through the years. Here are some, but certainly not all, of the performers that have passed away: Frida Boccara (1940-1996), "Un jour, un enfant", France 1969 Please register in order to view this content André Claveau (1915-2003), "Dors mon amour", France 1958 Grethe Ingmann (1938-1990), "Dansevise", Denmark 1963 (together with her then husband Jørgen Ingmann) Toše Proeski (1981-2007), "Life", Macedonia 2004 Ingvar Wixell (1931-2011), "Absent friends", Sweden 1965 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGP069PtnHI

Members alphanguy74
I HATE that 1972 Dutch entry like you wouldn't believe. His suit actually has ric-rac around the lapel? We used to make crafts out of that stuff in vacation bible school! LOL I think her dress is lovely, however. She's quite a good singer, with a decent song, she'd be really good. Edit.... I just looked, and yes, there is some much better stuff there of them. This is great, and her voice is quite impressive: Please register in order to view this content

Members DRW50
What the hell is this. At least we know what would happen if Eastenders' Shirley Cartey was invited to Eurovision. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cce4EtZxUXU
Members alphanguy74
You know, I hadn't seen the technical glitch before of Sandie Shaw's microphone not being on for her opening note. She must have been panic stricken inside for that moment.
