I'd be okay with some staff staying, but I also believe some of Mulcahey's associates should be coming in. Mulcahey comes from a time where when a new head writer was instilled, they brought their writing staff with them. Now? It isn't that way. The Roseanne/Sandra Bernhard scene is interesting for it being very GH 1993 specific - e.g. the joke about Jason going to take off his shirt for Brenda at the docks (an exaggeration of course) would have dated pretty quickly as she became involved with (and her airtime totally consumed by) Sonny soon after this would have originally aired (and also wasn't Steve Burton rumoured to have had a no shirtless clause in later years?). Which is what normally happens in situations like this. I hate what Roseanne has become. I've been very happy with what I've watched. I absolutely loved the Luke/Laura visit on Roseanne. It's growing on me and I like the creepy horror film atmosphere. The background music is horribly loud, but I am getting used to it. Is this storyline with Ava... Esme... good? With no spoilers, I would be grateful if someone can give me thumbs up if it's good or I should watch a different year, period. Damn Brenda got cray cray lol Ofc Sonny loved her BUT I will always give it to Sonny coz he really tried to be a good husband to her and that was enough for Lilly. I get that Brenda and Sonny Fans hated Lilly but it was juicy drama like when Brenda used Jax or when she got herself into a snow storm. Lilly was so loyal to Sonny. Brenda even wanted to betray him to the cops but then pretends like they belong together? Can‘t make that up lol LILLY would’ve never done that.
