FATAL ATTRACTIONS:

A lot of sweeps period has to do with Nick, Phyllis and Sharon. Smith hints there will be business intrigue and sounds like Nick and Phyllis will be snowbound on Nick and Sharon's 10th wedding anniversary.

BRAD & VICTORIA:

The mess with Ashley's case causes Brad to make some "challenging" decisions with regard to Victoria and their engagement. It builds to a "dramatic, very unexpected infidelity."

ASHLEY'S TRIAL:

The story culminates in an "unexpected" fashion . . . "stunning and very tragic for the Abbott family."

LAUREN LEARNS A SECRET:

Lauren learns about Michael's involvement to frame Tom and struggles to decide whether or not to turn him in.

COLLEEN & LILY CAUSE TROUBLE:

Both Lily and Colleen return to town with romantic agendas. Mac has an unexpected nightmare that has a huge impact on her raltionship with J.T. and Kevin.

SPA VENTURE:

The spa venture "reignites the battle between Victor and Jack" building to a huge springtime story involving the Abbotts, Fishers and Victor and Nikki.

I'm actually REALLY ENJOYING the spa stuff! I hope Mac's nightmare is the END of JT/Mac! Okay GLAD the Ashley stuff is moving forward QUICK! And EXTREMELY pleased that Michael and NOT Christine will be the lawyer representing Ashley (Christine didn't even know the burden of proof falls on the Crown during the Cassie trial. OY!) Looking forward to NEW Lily! Loving the Nick/Phyllis/Sharon stuff, loving how Phyllis is becoming so attracted to Nick. February doesn't sound all that bad IMO, especially with Leanna Love and that Ted guy coming over! :D

Sounds good all around! This is one soap where I look forward to the SWEEPS!

I think John may die.

They don't need to use Fatal Attraction where Phyllis is concerned...the lady is nuts!

The spa is a fascinating idea, I would love to see Nikki start her OWN business and get Jill and Phyllis to go in the business with her. Heck, I would throw in Drucilla as well.

Only two things that are missing is Jill and Kay and the Winters(but maybe they fit in with Lily's return)? But that doesn't mean they won't have a story, we'll see how this all plays out. Hopefully it will be VERY Jill and Katherine HEAVY!

I don't want John to die :(

Maybe the truth about the "crystal meth" comes out? But then again, it says "tragic," John probably learns the truth...

What crystal meth?

And I pray that they keep with the YoYo and Neil story...I want to see Dru have to fight for her man. Lily for all we know, may end up pregnant-married to Daniel or something like that.

Jill and Katherine, my god...if they don't undo that mommy-daughter storyline that they created.

I don't want John to die either, but that's as tragic as they can get.

Neil will probably be real hesitant to do anything with Yolanda. That's probably when he will find out about Lily's parentage. Then it's full steam ahead!

I don't think John will die, but he will probably burst into the courtroom and confess, saving Ashley from going to prison.

I hope Lauren doesn't turn Michael in. She has done some stuff herself and I don't think she should be so high and mighty.

And for once, for now, I hope Victor kicks Jack's ass. JS has written Jack into being such a punk, it's time for Victor to put him in his place.

Same here I can't wait for this! I do hope when all is said and done Sharon/Nick divorce and move on to new romances. Unlike AuntJack I think Myboy (Nick) will definitely be a strong opposite to Phyliss, he won't let her chew him up and spit him out like Phyliss tends to do with AuntJack LoL.

    • Interesting show. I liked very much the Shawn and Johnny talk, one tortured about shooting his dad, the other not so much (if he did it, which I doubt). Marlena was strangely empathetic to EJ which was a switch, and I liked him offering his Cat date to Chad. I want to see Cat given a personality by the new writers. Ron could not be bothered with her since she was dumped on him by the strike team and was too big a name for him to fire like he did poor BobbyEverett. So we got the awful Fabby story and then 2x a month airings with her acting like a spaz. I actually like the entire Greene family (apart from the mother) and would like to see more of them.   Highlight of the show was seeing Steve and Kayla act like the duo I remember from their heyday. I got a lump in my throat when she thanked him for loving her brother.
    • I know that VW thought it sounded like a good story when it was pitched to her.  I know that by the end of it she thought it was positively awful. I suspect that if we were to try to pinpoint when that changed, we might be pretty accurate. But, agree to disagree about her performance,  which of course, is never a big deal.
    • I was ok with how Nicole handled herself today but once she face off with Leslie again will hopefully be a different Nicole.  I am wondering how Kat will interact with Men going forward. She already comes off as guarded, so this should be interesting.
    • Tide: For when you want to drink your heartache and betrayal away.
    • Did I ever say that? I actually don't want to, but I have no problem doing so when I feel it's truly warranted. Case in point. I'll be more respectful about how you're involving yourself in these kind of discussions when you consider doing the same. Believe me when I tell you the way you attempt to dress up this attitude has placated no one, and this is not a minority forum opinion. It is easy enough, for example, to simply say that "I think sometimes we underrate JFP's skills as a woman producer in an overly misogynistic industry". It's a lot easier than spending paragraph after paragraph amusedly shaking one's head while talking down to the clueless proles of SON about their blinkered, reductive opinions. And I think we both know I'm not imagining that POV. And yes, I am saying that many of us have spoken up crediting Phelps for the skills she obviously has as a technical whiz and line producer. There's nothing out of turn about acknowledging that many posters know where she excelled. Or talking about where she clearly (for many of us) didn't. You don't have to agree, but you could try listening to someone other than yourself.
    • It’s a recurring tension in Daytime: the willingness to take risks can fuel a show's longevity, but the actresses themselves often bear the long-term consequences of audience backlash.
    • I pray Eva never lets Dana back into her life, because she deserves better. Dana isn't a mother, nor is she a parent.
    • Daphnee's performance very much reminded me of Anna Holbrook's on Another World when Sharlene was dealing with John and Felicia's affair. Angry but well controlled and believable. A good start for an Emmy reel. If there is one thing an evil Black mother is going to do, it is lock you out the house. Eva shouldn't have even bothered to go home.  Leslie calling Martin "Mr. President" was interesting. How much exactly does she know about the family and has someone higher up sent her to cause trouble? Anita's speech to Leslie was dignified like Geraldine Whitney (EON) or Kim Hughes (ATWT) would have gone off on somebody.
