Y&R give Black people power?

Good to see Jill in the spoilers, but Genie said she's barely taping these days, so I'm guessing any Colin-Jill-Guen story is pretty much going nowhere. The Tucker twist sounds interesting, but the rest sounds pretty godawful.

Some of these characters I dont even know who they are.

They already had their quota of telling people how stupid Jill is - what other airtime does she need?

There's that, but even worse he's in the group of long time characters the writers don't care about and don't know how to use. Neil, Nikki, Paul, and Jill could really improve the show, despite the bad writing, if used. I don't understand why they didn't learn from Brad. They didn't know how to use him. He was positioned in a perfect spot to be a Victor rival or replacement but they were blind to it, Y&R could have had $$$Brad instead of Tucker.

They have another opportunity with Neil, he's a sexy, sexy, man who has a personal history with all the business players in town. Story doesn't have to made up or forced, and they need the new billionaire character in the in-between generation gap between Victor and Adam, not slightly younger than Victor. $$$Neil grooming his young son Devon to take the reins of a large corporation would be a million times more interesting than another new character,( or re-formulating (again) a failed character ) with yet another cast member from another soap. $$$$Neil could be a hot new character that could bring former Y&R viewers back. Former viewers are more likely to stick around and watch daily because they are more likely to be invested in the whole show.

I swear every-time they announce a new arrival who they think will bring new Y&R fans, triple the number of longtime viewers turn Y&R off for good in disgust. All these newbies haven't added one net fan.

LOL You know a character is a complete flop when he's more interesting comatose in a hospital bed than he was as a functioning character.
