I watched the first two seasons. I love TC and JC. I have to catch up on this season. Is it good so far?

well only 2 episodes have aired but so far so good. Tara's gone back to college so that should be interesting. I bet she will find the brother that molested her later in the season. I hope so after the twist last season

I have it on demand, so I'll check it out this weekend. I saw Eddie Izzard will be playing a professor, so that should be good.

I love this show for Toni and a few other actors, but always have issues with it. I think it would really benefit from being an hour--and from Showtime not insisting it was a rioutous comedy. The premier this year took about 20 mins to really get going--and then it was almost over! But I'm glad they've continued all storylines from last season (the fact they dropped two of the most interesting storylines between seasons 1 and 2 pissed me off), and def look forward to each new ep. I'm kinda already sick of her sister, and would like more with both the son and the daughter--but I admit the ending of this week's was great.

Hey Eric, what 2 storylines are you referring to? Oh and IA on her sister. I cant remember her name but she irritates me as well.

They've just made the sister more and more, well kinda vile. LOL I mean just when I kinda liked her more last year, this season I can't think of any redeeming quality (and no, sitting in her house and feeling sorry for herself or being mean to Neil doesn't count).

Umm between seasons 1 and 2 a few stories felt dropped (I know the show changed showrunners)--one was the boss of the daughter who seemed all set up to start stalking her full time in the season 1 finale and then just disappeared, the other was the friend the son liked who Tara got with.

The sister's name is Charmaine (sp) and she is really annoying. She thinks she's too good for Neil, but she uses him whenever she feels like it. I hope he finds someone else.

Exactly--I usually don't mind characters that others consider unlikeable--but in this case there just seems to be nothign redeeming about her. She doesn't care about her niece and nephew, she is (understandably, but still too extremely) annoyed and jealous of her sister, and as much as Neil used to never be a fave character of mine, he's been nothing but understanding and kind to her, and yet she seems to resent but need him more and more. She's just become such a gruesome character (granted she always kinda was, but it seems to get more and more so...)

I was actually ok with the ending. This year was a mess--some great some awful, but the ending did give SOME sort fo conclusion (though it also made me think Season 4 would have been far more interesting)

IA. The ending was fitting bc it seemed as if they were finally dealing with the fact that Tara is crazy and needs help. The rest of her family seemed to be moving on as well. Almost seemed as if they knew they might not be back bc the last few episodes felt like it was building up to the final episode of the series.

I liked the season but I have to say, I hated her new personality, Bryce. Id rather Bryce be alive and she had confronted him this season instead
