January 15, 201115 yr Member No, Maria. I don't want to see the Mustache bark orders at his unfulfilled trophy wife and that pass for "romance." I want to see Nikki have hot, sweaty donkey-kong sex with Deacon and rediscover her inner, vibrant, go-getting bitch. And Shick another "magic, major romance"? Goodness, Michelle Stafford must have complained long and hard for them to start pushing Shick again. It wasn't even all that in the 90s! Darius "finding his footing" is code for "The fans hate the recast so we've taken him off our screens in the hope they forget just how little we take their concerns into account." I like Sophia. And I like the actress with Neil, too. Even when Sophia is laying down the law and telling Cane what's what, there is something sympathetic about her. And she never comes across as helpless or defering to anybody, not even that perma-haired bore, Tucker. Couldn't have put it better myself!
January 17, 201115 yr Member Do you care about them as a love triangle? That's what I meant. I don't think I've ever cared about any triangle they were involved in (I don't count Dru as part of a triangle with them). I want to see these characters get some storylines, but I most certainly don't want to see Neil and Malcolm fighting over Sofia. Why these writers act so lazy when it come to these character I don't know. Its ridiculous that after a complete year of being on the show they haven't done anything with Malcolm. I can't even blame the actor, because how can you get your "footing" in a role if you're being pushed aside for the favorites. We all know who they are. It really was a bunch of BS she was saying regarding not wanting to shove Sofia down our throats. How ironic we've had Heather, Adam, Daisy, and many other newbies shoved down our throats. So I think she should've just been honest and said she really didn't care for these characters. The thought of another isolated Winters SL is NOT what I call rifting storytelling. January 17, 201115 yr Member Funny, it didn't take them a year to let Maura West find her footing as a recast Diane, nor Marcy Rylan as a recast Abby, nor Eden Riegel as a recast Heather. Perhaps it's because Eddie Winslow is a former primetime star instead of a former daytime star? Yeah, that sounds like a good answer they could use.
January 17, 201115 yr Member I wish they had SPECIFICALLY asked about Neil and Olivia so that she couldn't pull out that bullsh!t line about patience and time. Bitch please. GTF.
