Members applcin
I'm not a Drew Carey fan but I did love WLIIA for the talents of the other guys--Ryan, Colin, Chip, Wayne, etc.--so I hope to check this out. Starts in the spring. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/lifestyle/tv/drew-carey-to-star-in-gsn-improv-comedy-series-former-whose-line-comics-to-join-in-109167689.html
Members DRW50
Every time I tried to watch the American version of the show it was just Wayne Brady singing and Drew Carey snickering and breaking up all the time. I don't understand why they decided this was some great improv.
Members SFK
And as long as Drew stays in the host seat, he always sucked when he joined in. This is cool if it gives some talented up and coming improv artists a chance, it just sucks that you can't tell what's improv or scripted in the style of improv these days. Members applcin
I always considered Colin and Ryan to be the best things about WLIIA. Colin, especially, made for some of the most hilarious moments on the show. Aside from the fact these guys were his friends (and employees, co-producers, etc.), Drew was out of his element comedy-wise. It sounds like he knows it, though, and, hopefully, will keep himself out of the sketches.
