FOX: Ryan Murphy/Howard Gordon Drama

  • Member
Two producing powerhouses -- "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy and "24" executive producer Howard Gordon -- are teaming for new procedural TV drama.

The Emmy-winning duo are near a deal at Fox for a put pilot order on an as-yet-untitled project.

Though story details are scarce, the 20th Century Fox TV project is being called a high-concept character-driven supernatural procedural about a psychiatrist who deals with people facing their worst fears and phobias. Though each week will deal with a different case, the show will not necessarily be a crime drama.

Murphy and Gordon will write and executive produce the series together. A deal with Fox is not complete, yet given the auspices behind the project, sources say a pilot order is likely.

See, I can't do this at all. Maybe it's self-centered thinking, but I can accept that other people think a show is great, well-written, extremely satisfying, very enjoyable, etc...but if I have no desire to watch more than a little bit of it every now and then, I can't feel comfortable testifying for its quality.

Ha, see i have no problem doing that with movies, music, or tv. Like i know the beatles are good, yet i have no desire to ever listen to them. I know Gone With The End is like, epic, but its not my thing. lol.

As for whether I can see that a show is good, well-written, well-acted but don't like it, that's how I usually operate as well. I may not like it but that doesn't mean I don't recognize a show's quality and see why other people like it.

Yup.

Lord in heavens! laugh.gif What a convoluted sentence for something that could've been said in a much simpler way! tongue.gif
