I no longer have SOAPnet, and even though I could easily look up some episodes on YouTube, there is something different/easier about just turning the TV on and watching them. All I want is for AMC and that other show to get some of this love, too. [!@#$%^&*], you can never have enough Erica wedding marathons. Members Khan Posted July 20, 2010 Members Share Posted July 20, 2010 If Genie Francis (Laura) were to return to GH, and ABC wanted to pre-empt the entire lineup for one day for her, I wouldn't complain, b/c like it or not, Luke & Laura's original love story (rape notwithstanding) was the height of soap opera in the '80's. But Brenda/VM? She wasn't even the biggest thing about GH in the '90's! She was/is popular, yes, but it wasn't as if she set the entire industry buzzing the way Luke & Laura did, or even Erica Kane on AMC did back in the day. So when did he completely turn on One Life? "All I can say is thank God for Tuc Watkins or I would have deleted this show from my DVR a long time ago."
