Here are the film nominations from the 12th Annual Screen Actors Guild, they were announced this morning. The SAGs, along with the GG, are the biggest pre-cursor for the Academy Award nominations, thus their importance.

The Winners will be announced in a live broadcast on TBS, January 29th.

You know, maybe it's just me, but there's something strange going on in the universe when you realize that it's possible for a former member of the cast of Dawson's Creek might actually have a shot at being nomiated for an Oscar. :blink:

Granted, it must be the same cosmic disturbance that results in a former member of the cast of Beverly Hill 90218 winning two Oscars. :blink: :blink:

Hilary Swank won two oscars. One for Boys Don't Cry (1999) and another for Million Dollar Baby (2004).

Being on a cheesy show doesn't mean that the person doesn't have talent, as Hilary demonstrates often, as well as Michelle Williams, who was mesmerizing in Brokeback Mountain.
