Well that's because it's not an overhyped, overrated, not funny single camera comedy.

It's an overhyped, overrated, not funny multiple camera comedy.

I ALWAYS ALWAYS hate the comedy writing team nominee clips. So lame, so dumb, so the very essence of what's wrong with sitcoms today. They all try to appeal to the same damn audience.

And I hate Stephen Colbert too! Damn! They just keep trotting out people I can't stand!

Even though I watch all four, I wouldn't call Modern Family, Glee, 30 Rock/The Office, the same audience.

Dude, the last sitcom I liked was Reba  The last sitcom I liked on one of the big four networks was....That 70s Show?

I'm shocked they're not playing Journey for the GLEE wins. Which I don't mind that they're not because the whole "Don't stop believing!!!!!!!!" thing got old months ago.

Why do they keep playing cheap MIDI versions of classic TV themes? And the "coming up" previews look like the opening from Falcon Crest.

OMG OPRAAAAAAAAAH!! THE FIRST SEASON OF THE NATIONAL OPRAH WINFREY SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't watched a full episode of Ope since my godmother and me would watch in the 90s, but I always get teary-eyed seeing those clips from the first episode. Wallow in your empire, girl!

I mean by network. The NBC shows all go after the same audience, the CBS shows all go after the same audience. But I guess that has a lot to do with the sitcoms being relegated to one night of the week.
