Days J&J Fans - is Jennifer moving too fast?

I will be honest. I am a huge J&J fan, and probably always will be. Before J&J, I was a Jennifer/Frankie fan but truly believe that J/F was never as good as J/J. I will say that I have always believed that the only believable triangle Days could do with J/J would be with Billy Warlock's Frankie. Billy and Missy have chemistry though no one will ever convince me that it is even close to what Missy and Matt have when given half way decent material. Also, Billy, Matt and Missy are fine actors who always give their best in a scene - something that is sometimes lacking on Days.

Now, recent spoilers show Jennifer already fantasizing about being with Frankie. Personally, for my tastes, this Jennifer love/lust is moving a little fast since Jack's memorial service was only two weeks ago. I haven't watched Jenn/Frankie scenes since Jack's "death" and probably won't until Jack finally returns to Salem as something other than a lurker in the bushes. However, since it is completely obvious that JER wants to establish this triangle, would it be best for JER to have Jenn/Frankie get on with it, so to speak, so we can finally get Matt's Jack back.

Personally, I could buy into this story if when Jack gets back we could finally get some real honest to goodness angst, love and romance.

Let's have Jack be disappointed and angry that Jennifer replaced him so fast. Let's have Jack wonder if Jennifer ever really loved him at all. Let him want Jennifer back "deep down" but not chase after her like some heartsick puppy. Maybe someone else could ease Jack's heart for a little while. I am sick and tired of Jack always doing the chasing.

Let's have Jennifer be torn between anger at Jack for faking his death and relief that the love of her life and father of her children is back from the dead. Let her feel a little guilt for getting together with Frankie so fast and question why she always seems to need a man in her life (Brandon, Colin, Patrick - whether romantic or not). Let her question what her true feelings really are, who she really wants to be with. And for once can we have Jennifer do the chasing once she finally decides. Enough of Jack, and Frankie, chasing after her. Let's see Jennifer for once be perceived as other than the woman all men want!

And let's have good guy Frankie torn between loyalty to his best friend Jack (who he knows loves Jennifer) and his need and desire to be with the love of his life, Jennifer. Let's have this good guy consider turning just a little bad if it means staying with Jennifer.

Obviously, I want the end result to be Jack and Jennifer being together. But if putting them in a well-written triangle with Frankie could give them all some much deserved front-burner air-time, I say bring it on. I want Jack back so let this triangle commence.

On one hand you don't want jennifer to move fast, hey she never moved on with Patrick when she thought jack was dead before...But the faster she moves on, the quicker we can get jack back...Sad fact!!

Am I the only one who will hate Jennifer if/and when she sleeps with Frankie?

I expect this will occur at the precise moment a cured Jack returns, during February sweeps!

Wouldn't it be a better SL if there was another woman interested in Jack? OK, not likely, but Ashford has chemistry with any woman he works with! I wouldn't be opposed to Jack/Billie,or the return of Greta, for instance!

Whatever happens, Matt Ashford/Jack needs to be back in Salem and soon!

Here's the smart speculation...

1. Jennifer fantasizes about being with Frankie. Show gets trickle of hate mail.

2. Jennifer stuck someplace with Frankie... they exchange a few kisses. Show gets more hate mail.

3. Jennifer gives into her feelings and does the nasty with Frankie. NBC Burbank bombarded with protest mail looking for Jim Reilly, who of course lives on Long Island and does not write from West Coast.

4. Huge SOD cover... THE PLOT TO SAVE JACK AND JENNIFER!

Said it once, will say it again. Kill Jack off! It would be stupid for anyone to send hate mail about Jennifer, what about sending hate mail about Jack. Jennifer doesn't know Jack is faking his death. When she does find out she should slap the living [!@#$%^&*] out of him and then go to her Uncle Mickey and file divorce papers and also go to the Salem police department and file fraud charges against him as well. She also should do something that anyone in their right mind would do, have nothing to do with this son of a !@#$%^&*] ever again. Abby should do likewise. Jack Deveraux is the character people should be sending hate mail in about. Kill this worthless bastard of a character off asap DAYS!! And remember, this is coming from a former Jack/Jenn fan. I was so upset when DAYS apparently killed Jack off back when the Salem Stalker storyline began and again when he was re-kidnapped by Tony. But this crap is done on his own free will.

I'd like to see Jack paired with either Billie or maybe even Sami, both women have had good chemistry with Jack....It would be especially interesting if Jack got into a relationship with Billie.......Billie and Jen are friends, as are their daughters Abby and Chelsea....With Chelsea being the one who probably hit Zach, there could be some high drama IF a halfway decent actress could be cast as a nuChelsea.....

I wish JER would let characters evolve and actually learn from their mistakes, Sami doesn't have to be the way she is forever, and at some point she deserves to have a relationship that lasts awhile with someone...That's a whole other story for another time though......

It bothers me as a J&J fan to see her dreaming of him but I want this story and have for awhile (i love Warlock and Reeves's chemsitry so I am getting a little torn)and she is only fantasizing about him so no biggie. Plus, Like KR said, the sooner this is done the sooner Jack gets back. I want Jack with either Greta, Sami, or Billie. Let's make this a quad and make my dream come true .

I really hate this triangle.its awfull,filled with rewritten history to try and make Jenn and Frankie something they are NOT,while ruining Jack in the proccess.how can anyone call this a good triangle?

Missy and Billy have Zero chemistry.they are fine as friends,but as lovers? no way. besides,together they are boring and have no story possibilities except for Jack, while Jack and Jennifer have tons of great stories that can be used on them (Sadly JERK is the HW therefore the only stories they have are either Jack dying or triangles).

Just bring Jack back and start this Damn thing.will Missy,Billy and Matt do a great Job? ofcourse,but it wont change the fact that this storyline sucks.

Well, based on spoilers and tomorrow prevuze, Jennifer/Frankie pairing is probably going to be fastest in the history of daytime television. I quess TPTB decided J/J fans are going to be protesting no matter what, so than trying again that slow and carefull build they used on her and Patrick without succes, they will get into it as fast as possible no matter how destructive or illogical it is for Jennifer or any character involved. Let´s not forget this is the third attempt to put J/J into triangle using exactly the same story. I´m almost sure if even this version ends as fiasco, Reilly simply fires all Matt, Missy and Billy and it will be end of the Deveraux on DAYS.

First, we have Jennifer fantasizing about kissing Frankie in the shower. Now, after reading the latest spoilers where Frankie views a video from Jack urging him to get Jennifer to fall in love with him and another where Frankie tells Jennifer he loves her, it seems obvious this storyline is moving at supersonic speed.

By Valentine's Day, they will probably be lovers. Poor Jack could come back in May cured only to find Frankie and Jennifer happily married!

Sigh - I think Jack is about to get it in the face big-time!

I also agree that what Jack is doing is stupid but I would still like to know what happened to him. Where was he from the time he passed on drowning in the car and when we saw him Christmas Day? How did he get out of the car? Where has he been?

They won't get fired Jane-if anything Matt Ashford will quit. Missy isn't going anywhere-she is too close with the cast and loves it there because its a great job for actresses who are raising a family. Billy might leave too but on his own accord. I don't see this as rushed at all considering Jen knows that this is what Jack wanted and Jack did start pushing them together back in June (remember all summer they were put in close proximity by him) and he was there for the whole ordeal with Jack. Plus, they were in love in the past so all that combined is good enough reason for me for Jen to move on. She is vulnerable and its been over a month since he died and given the fact that she was already prepared for him to die (plus he has died 3 times lol) I can see this happening now. I mean they are only fantasizing people its not like she is having sex with him tomarrow. Even if she did it wouldn't bug me because she is vulnerable and has this great guy from her past that has been there for her through this whole thing with her husband and family, was a good friend to her husband, is the guy who her husband wanted her to be with, and all those past feelings started coming back when Jack was playing matchmaker last summer. The only way this doesn't make sense is that there is some rewritten history (Frankie and the love letters, etc) but as of late there hasn't been much that hasn't made sense in regards to this story. Like I said, J&J are my favorite couple but I love the chemistry between BW and MR and want this triangle and have wanted it for awhile. The sooner the better because we will get Jack back and then I hope Days sticks a woman in there (Billie, Greta, Sami, etc) to make it a quad. I am really enjoying this and everything on Days. This show is definitely rolling.

Oh, common, I don´t understand how you can say this is not fast or forced. Yes, Jack tried to push Jennifer with Frankie but the show made it clear she is not interested. There was no residual feelings, no stealed looks across the room, if something Jennifer was angry whenever Jack just implied she could get together with Frankie after his dead. So, this is totally out of the blue and it´s not based on anything what happened on the show till today. And it´s stupid. It seems Jennifer/Frankie will get together in three weeks. Show me couple who get together this fast on daytime. And their scenes aren´t even frontburner, they looks more as a filler.
