Forced? That's an interesting point of view (this is not sarcasm). Anyway, she is now adapting teen drama Au Pairs.

And some proof:

Alexa Junge, the executive producer/showrunner of Showtime's United States of Tara, has decided not to continue on the series, which recently was renewed for a second season. Bringing Junge on board was key to securing a series order for the show, created by Oscar winner Diablo Cody. The search is under way for new showrunner to take over the series. The Showtime/DreamWorks TV-produced United States of Tara has wrapped production on Season 1, which is still airing original episodes on Showtime Sunday nights. Junge wrote three episodes this season, the last of which airs Sunday.

On United States of Tara, which stars Toni Collette as a wife and mother with multiple-personality syndrome, Junga served as an executive producer alongside Steven Spielberg, Cody, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.

United States of Tara's executive producer Alexa Junge is leaving the Showtime series, which was just renewed for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Junge (Friends) ran the day-to-day operations of the critically acclaimed Tara, which was created by Oscar winner Diablo Cody and chronicles the family life of a woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder (Toni Collette). No replacement has been named yet.

Yes, sorry I shoulda admitted you were right--I didn't argue because I realizd my mistake. But thanks for the proof ;) Still, I'm a big Saloway fan so I hope she's not gone for good.

By forced I mean, when dialogue sounds so self conscious to me that it pulls me out f the movie or tv show--and I experienced that a lot with Juno.

So far up to S2 ep 4

Eric, check out Toni in The Night Listener with Robin Williams. She is sensational and the movie (and the book) are terrific.

Pretty good finale I thoght, though it again made me wish the show was an hour--lotsa little things coulda stood being fleshed out. Is Season 3 gonna be all about finding Bryce then?? :S Hrmmm
