ATWT: A few questions

Okay watching yesterday's show, I was wondering, how many times has Bob been married and to whom has he been married. Was Lisa his first wife?

Also what's the history with Bob/Kim/Susan?

Bob's first wife was Lisa. He was also married to Jennifer Sullivan (Kim's sister), Miranda Marlowe (some sort of secret crime lord or something), and Sandy.

In the mid 70s, Kim was in love with Dan Stewart (Emily's father), who had a very ugly relationship with alcoholic Susan. She and John Dixon made life hell for Kim and Dan.

Susan finally gave up with Dan and left town in the late 70s, but returned in 1987 or so. She and Bob became close friends at work and he helped her overcome her addiction to pain medication. Kim was spending most of her time with John, dealing with their son Andy's alcoholism. One night, Bob and Susan made love. Bob had real feelings for Susan, but he wanted to stay with Kim. He told Kim and this led them to separation and counseling.

Susan and Kim made up a few years ago but for a long time no one could push Kim's buttons the way Susan could.

Susan slept with Bob when she was suffering from a fall during a confrontation with Lucinda. Bob was good friends with Susan at the time and they kept getting chummy until they slept together. Kim found out and all hell broke loose. Those were good times by Douglas Marland.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of all that. I really like Bob and Kim has grown on me in the last few years.

So Barbara is Kim's niece, her sister's daughter then? Who is Barbara's father?

Yes, Barbara is Kim's niece. I dont recall if they ever said who Barbara's dad was.

Barbara's dad was Chuck Ryan, who was a friend and colleague of Bob's. When Chuck was dying, he asked Bob to take care of Jennifer and the kids (Barbara and her brother Rick), and after he died, Bob and Jennifer got close, became an item, and were married. Barbara was out of town through most of this, though.

Rick was a big loser.

Kim's and Bob's daughter actually lived, and Rick had just lied to them. They found their daughter, Sabrina, almost 20 years later.

This was one of the few times that Barbara and Kim fell out over something besides Barbara's scheming -- Barbara was upset to see the product of Bob cheating on her mother with her aunt. Frannie was also upset about this.

I'd love how Kim would disown Babs during her scheming...damn that was good stuff.

I really wish the early 70s stuff was out there...among many other things I have always wanted to see Donna Wandrey, she of the beautiful red hair and not so beautiful dead line readings, as Barbara Ryan.

Did Rick ever return? Has Barbara ever mentioned him since or is he another "Tommy Horton?"

Rick was last seen in 1987. I don't think he's been mentioned since.
