Just last year Brit LIED on Kenya. She said Kenya had been hazing her and that she doesnt own any guns nor ever threatened her or anyone. Girl, we clearly saw Kenya was telling the truth the entire time

And how was Kenya hazing her? Because she didnt hug the way you wanted to be hugged? This bish is WEIRD

Kenya had the gall to ask her if she was engaged or married and she’s been married and this ho has been obsessed since. The fact that she flat out lied and knew the audience would jump to conclusions because it’s Kenya is wild and sick.

Agree with you all, Britt is awful, crazy, thirsty and needs to go.  I can't believe we lost Kenya for her.  I also don't understand why production said she didn't threaten Kenya, when clearly she did and it's all there for us to hear/see.  Britt needs to go.

Im so confused bc the way things are playing out, it seems like they are on Kenya's side. She has no confessionals but th entire story is playing out from Brit's perspective and she looks crazy. They control the final edit and did not need to air her threatens. They could have easily claimed tot not have footage and said it happend after her mic was taken off but they kept this in there, further validating Kenya

My take? They wanted to keep Kenya but what she does put them in a hard position. I remember hearing rumors/speculation about Brit threatening to sue and/or press charges and that likely scared Bravo to appease her bc they didnt want this scandal to grow any bigger. Kenya said she wanst fired; she left bc of how things were handled but she's not moving like someone that left voluntarily so Im confused. I think productioin should have given her better reassurance and allowed her to film but kept she nad brit separate. When the fight happened on RHOP, Monique and Candiace stopped filming together. Danielle on RHONJ filmed most of season 2 by herself, only having about 3 interactions with the rest of hte cast. They should have done that here, gauged the temperature and if both were up for it, hype up a 1:1 sitdown in the finale

Britt is awful. How dare she make me sympathize with Kenya, who I have never enjoyed.

I don't think production is stupid. Rather, I think production wants the audience to turn on Britt to the point that Kenya can return.

I found the edit for Kenya very sympathetic this season and while next week's antics likely put production in a place where they didn't feel they could keep her, I am not seeing anything anti-Kenya from production.

What happened to Dawn's face. It looks like a mask. Magali and Ampika look exactly like when they left.

I have not watched Cheshire since the very early seasons. I remember Magali, though, and she has not changed a day. Ampika also still looks very much like Ampika.

Dawn OTOH... I don't know what she did, but her face wasn't looking Picasso-esque on the last season on Dubai.

RHOA

I admit to being surprised. Since the main storyline coming into the season is Brit vs Kenya, I couldn't believe that we were already getting to it. Not enough build for me honestly. And aren't RHOA's season usually 18 episodes without the reunion episodes? It makes me go uh oh overall.

But for the episode itself, I thought it was very good. It felt like the ladies were finding their rhythm. There were several things going on. And the episode just flowed. If anything, the only false note was Porsha's continued attempts to be relevant. It does worry about the direction of the show once Kenya exits.

PORSHA. I knew that she was not okay after saying she was coming to a truce with Drew. And then having that whole scene about it. GIRL, BYE. So in a twist, I did like that she does not realize that she started organic drama with Shamea with her acting like she did not recognize Shamea's voice. Last week, she was poking for the sake of poking and relevancy. Her at the Bank dinner felt completely authentic. And that is because Porsha has a history of not liking when her friends start to outshine her just like Nene. So it tracks. Finally.

SHAMEA. And let me be clear...Shamea continues to OUTSHINE Porsha. I loved the history lesson with Shamea. I had no idea that she had been in so many music groups. All the years she's been on RHOA, I never knew. And I saw that segment and went NO WONDER HER AND KANDI HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON!!! The music! The wealth! Enduring marriages! Why has Shamea been hiding this all this time? I was so impressed and inspired. Meanwhile, she also mended fences with Angela...a sign of a woman who know how the HW game is played. And trying to get her music career out there and using the platform right as well. And she was still giving humor and fun shade. I've always liked her since she took on Shady Phae Phae, but I really think she's doing a great job.

DREW. Woooooow they gave Tampa Ralph a Confessional...the shade of it all!!! Look FOINE though...lol. But seriously, good to get an update on her and Ralph's divorce. Also good to see her in the music studio. And she and Dennis talking on camera about Porsha...uh oh. But still...Dennis has always done what he wanted to do. Porsha played her hand wrong in that situation. IMO. In any case, Drew was still giving story any way she could do it, and it does not come across as someone throwing things at the wall to make things stick. If Porsha needs to be doing anything, it would be...taking NOTES. (c) Lesa Milan.

KELLI. So, so, SOOOOOOOO my favorite of the newbies. And I'm so mad that we were cheated out of watching her friendship with Kenya grow. That scene with them at Kenya's beauty center was great. And OMG at even more backstory on her ex-man. He sounds CRAZY!!!

ANGELA. She just fits in. It almost feels like she's always been there. I feel how she's moving has been reminiscent of when Garcelle joined BH in Season 10. She's getting a lay of the land, getting to see how the dynamic is. And it's working out for her. And good that she was smart to bring a stop to her and Shamea's feud. And even though she was hanging with Brit, she stayed open minded to Kenya. Moreso since she interacted with Kenya off-screen.

BRIT.

Kenya herself said it best. 'Thank you for using my catchphrase.' EXACTLY!!! She went into that Bank dinner (which was nicely done) with the purpose of trying to have a moment. Feeling some kind of way about a hug. Asking questions. Coming for Kenya when Kenya DID NOT send for her. Spiraling like the peasant she was coming for a queen. And This queen knew to keep calm and keep it moving. And then mentioning pistols and whips IS a threat. I clocked her husband last week not saying NOTHING about Kenya. And he was the level-headed one here. Cuz at least someone in that marriage knew Kenya's rep preceded her. And also...KENYA WAS RIGHT. Speaking of...

KENYA. KENYA WAS RIGHT. She didn't do anything, but be civil. And if Brit can spiral over one comment, she wouldn't be able to handle a true Kenya attack...which it sounds like we are getting next week. hehe. Since she want the smoke, I guess she will get the smoke. But even without that, Kenya gave actual moments. From her hanging with Kelli. To seeing her ki-ki-ing briefly with Porsha. And the very fact those game questions were all about who? KENYA. She doesn't need moments...unlike Brit...because she IS the moment. Now that she's been vindicated, I say have at her.

Like I said, very good episode. That episode...and tonight's BH...is about to have online in shambles.

    • She could have easily tied them into the Cottage Mystery...(they could have easily explained going on adventures with Bea, babysitting) The house that Tony and Annabelle lived in could have been the coachhouse of the property that Qualo and Henry live in, or at the very least Nola would have been totally in on ghosts and secrets of her brother's house. But they kind of just sat around for months.  The clip of Van and Billy's impromptu wedding shows how sidelined Nola and Quint became...Nola isn't even around butting in on them getting married, its all Reva (though it is a more interesting Reva where Mindy and her or going at it and insulting each other..THAT Reva was fun.)  I loved it when those two would go at it. Somehow they could have resurrected that antogonistic relationship and not have Billy worshing at the throne of Reva.  When they brought JC back on recurring they should have had him at least warn Annie about Jeva pulling her down..."Darlin' I love my brother, but when he has ole Reva in his sites he will drop any woman to try to win her back...and then he will get bored with her...she's like booze is to me and you...he hates it but he needs it..get out while you can!"
    • It's been brought up that Empty Nest was a time slot hit. Here's Empty Nest schedule and seasonal rating in comparison to The Golden Girls. 1988/89: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 6th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 9th. 1989/90: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 6th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 9th. 1990/91: The Golden Girls Saturday 9 pm, 10th. Empty Nest Saturday 9:30 pm, 7th. 1991/92: The Golden Girls Saturday 8 pm, 30th (final season). Empty Nest Saturday 9 pm, 22nd.  1992/93: Saturday 9 pm, below the Top 30. 1993/94: Saturday 9 pm, below the Top 30. 1994/95: Saturday 8:30 pm then 8 pm, below the Top 30, and cancelled. Empty Nest 7 season run equaled the parent show The Golden Girls.
    • In an interesting turn of irony, when Somerset came onto the airwaves in 1970... it ran against Dark Shadows and beat it in the ratings fairly quickly.  Then when Edge of Night moves to ABC in December 1975 and put against Somerset, the slow ratings rise that Somerset was allegedly having in late 1975 is derailed. From reading the write ups of the final year, the show dropped the May/December romance.. which viewers enjoyed and was getting the show some good press... the original cast member was sidelined due to medical issues, and the show featured pure crime stories without any balance. I think the crime focus was an attempt to compete with EON.  However, people that were into crime stories/mysteries weren't going to tune into Somerset for their fix.. not when Edge of Night was known for that.. and that show was running on a high quality wise when the network switch occurred.

    • Erwin Nicholson's last episode as SFT ep was 11/21. Whitesell started 11/22/85. Erwin was on board from March 8, 1985 so less than 9 months. Whitesell lasts six months (approximately) before P&G moved him to AW for two years where he primarily worked with DePriest. Whitesell was replaced on Search by no daytime experience David Lawrence who closed out the show's last six months.

    • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point
