Exactly. Kenya is cool and level-headed. Bravo knows that too. I think that's why they haven't put out an official statement yet. I think how they respond will decide what route Kenya takes next.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Nene, Bethenny, Leah, and the others are reaching out to Kenya to add her to the calvary. Now will Kenya bite? That's the million-dollar question...

Not even Andy has said anything, and I think he would have on WWHL...not that I watch.

And definitely wouldn't count Kenya out yet. After all this is the lady who had more buzz for 3 weeks around her pregnancy than the actual episodes of RHOA Season 11 that was airing at that time.

Phaedra is on contract and filming for M2M. She wont be back for more than a guest appearance at best.

Throw the season in the toilet. Any hype I had for it is now officially dead

It woud be best for Kenya to pay them dust. She wasnt unrightly fired and I think she knows she has some accountability to take in what happened with her. The thing is the door isnt closed on her and she could still have opportunities in the future.  Joining Bethenny and Nene (who has backpeddled herself) cause would blackball her and she cant afford that. She has a young daughter to feed. Kenya needs to think long term, not simply in the right now

I will say Bravo aint ish for protecting Andy who admitted to sexual harassment of an employee yet did nothing to punish him. Of course he's a gay white male and Kenya as a black woman was never going to get that level of protection and grace

Meanwhile, they kept Jenn Aydin around... I'm more than ready for that one to be shown the door.

As for RHOA, with all the disappointment already with delayed filming, ho-hum casting decisions, and missing out on the juicy tidbits of Porsha's imploding life, I'm wondering if they end up scrapping it and it becomes another Ultimate Girls Trip 4, never to see the light of day.

True. I think Kenya needs to channel Kandi and focus on producing, acting, and directing. TV is about to shift back towards that way anyway. Might as well jump on the bandwagon now.

And don't get me started on Andy or any man on Bravo that has done heinous stuff and get protected. The list is LONG. *coughs* Tom Sandoval *coughs*

All my friends are coming for my faves!!! Now you want Jenn Aydin gone?! Lord!!!

That aside, I think they will end up scrapping the season. Porsha isn't able to provide much. The newbies are obviously duds. Cynthia, Shamea, and Drew aren't adding much either. Word on the street (in my Gizelle voice) is they are considering bringing Sheree back but that'll flop as Sheree has never really added much. People need to brace themselves. All these shows are about to end. Especially, Atlanta and NJ. I think the recent rumblings of Lisa and Mary getting low with each other on SLC will probably add SLC to the list too.

Atlanta and NJ are going to be the first to fall. That obvious.

While OC looks good (trailer-wise), I get this pit in my stomach that the Shannon gang-up is about to be overkill and possibly put them back on the wrong track. Praying I am wrong.

SLC is hit or miss. People are already incensed about Monica not returning. And Lisa leaking stuff to the press about Mary calling her child the r-word makes me think it is going to be toxic and dark. SLC really can't afford to be too dark or it'll suffer the fate of Dallas in their fifth season.

BH is safe for now. I think it depends on the transition this upcoming season. Last season was a dud, but it wasn't too bad. It had good moments.

Potomac is make or break this season. I think that the firings of Candiace and Robyn scared the women to get back on track. However, I never put too much trust in Ashley and Gizelle as they can't seem to stay away from smut.

Miami is the best show of the bunch. However, Bravo treats them poorly. And they just are about to start filming when they should've started when Potomac and Atlanta started. I don't put too much hope in them.

Dubai has potential but much like Miami, I don't see Bravo caring too much about them in the long run.

NuRHONY has been quiet about what is going on, so we'll have to wait and see how that pans out.

If I had to bet, I think OC and BH will be the last 2 standing. BH will outlast them all but not for too long. I think once Bravo announces the ends of NJ and ATL (the two shows that have the strongest cultural impacts), the audience will bleed out all over the other shows.

Bravo will then either shift to Below Deck being the network's main franchise or turn into MTV where they have 3-4 reality shows total and spend the rest of the year showing reruns and old movies.

Well tbf, BELOW DECK was already shifted to the main franchise years ago...the game show substitute to our HW shows as soaps.

And it's already been toxic for years. And for every show that manages to not be toxic or well handled (DOWN UNDER, MED last season, BELOW DECK), there are also problematic (The Bros from BELOW DECK S7, MED Season 5 which led to me stopping watching until this year, and the current ALL STARS 4-que situation with SAILING YACHT which resulted in MED coming back a year earlier than planned) shows. They don't push the show as much as they were since Captain Lee was forced out (and good to see him doing well on other tv shows), but they still push it over their HW shows.

Well would we count DC as the actual first?

But I was referring to the current batch of shows that are airing. I think ATL and NJ are doomed.

See, I've never gotten into Below Deck, so I don't know what is going on in its entirety. I know a little at the most. My mom is obsessed with it, so she is all into it; however, I am not stunned that the show veered into toxicity. After the network stayed pushing Kate Chastain as a face of Bravo, I am sure others felt that using her model would get them into the spotlight too.

SN: Hell has frozen over. Brandi is on Twitter defending Kenya. Now that tells you something...

I don't think there is anyway of getting around how despicable (and fireable) this allegation makes Kenya look. Looking at the bare bones accusation (Kenya allegedly blowing pictures of the newbie doing sexually explicit acts and plastering them all over a public event), I'm not sure Kenya has much legal ground to declare unfair dismissal.

Unfortunately, Kenya is a polarising figure, and many people can already picture her doing something like this. This is a long way from "Kenya Moore Hair Care" marching bands, though.

Moreover, Bravo is in the driver's seat here. They have the footage, and can release that to negotiating legal parties (and drip-feed it to social media). If it is damning, there is no getting around that with "But Whitney on Southern Charm...." We know that certain people get a free pass that other's do not. The Southern Charm cast has always been incredibly problematic, from institutionally-corrupt (and drugged-up) Thomas Ravanel and what he did to Kathryn, to very creepy Whitney, to the good ole southern frat boys now populating the show. Kenya might, legally, score some points on that front. However, in the event of potential litigation, Bravo will work overtime to reduce the story to the allegation itself. And the allegation paints Kenya in a dreadful light.

Well according to Brice Sander, Kenya was cleared of the investigation, but it came at a cost. I assume Bravo decided to cut her salary, so Kenya has now walked away from the show in protest.

And even her mortal enemy, Brandi Glanville, is coming to her aid and speaking on her behalf. You know if those two are in tandem, something in the house of Bravo is off. Brandi also confirmed what I suspected--Bravo knew beforehand what Kenya had to do b/c a production meeting had to occur for them to set up stuff and get the shots. Even Mariah (of M2M) said the same.

I think this was a hit job to get rid of Kenya b/c she dared to speak out against production in the Carlos King interview last year.

    • I think they’re desperately trying to cover his awful tattoos. But anyway them being unable to style short kings properly has been a major pet peeve of mine for a while now.  I honestly don’t understand what some people expect from actors to even begin considering them for recognition. Let’s be real—awards mostly mean that an actor is respected by their peers and has some level of cultural relevance. Actual judgment on the acting itself? That’s often secondary—highly subjective and shaped by the times. I completely agree on both points. If you’re an actor or a dancer you shouldn’t get any tattoos (sorry not sorry). Tomas’ tattoos are ugly too. And regarding the couples- you’re completely right. These writers are unable to write romance.   Further comments: - Kat cannot be this dumb to keep tampering with evidence over and over again. And I’m officially not a fan of the actress—every time she’s in a scene with Leslie, she doesn’t seem intimidated at all. She plays it like comic relief, which is just too much, especially when paired with Leslie’s histrionics and over-the-top antics. Leslie is older, dangerous, and has literally been portrayed as homicidal—Kat should be at least a little scared. • I also didn’t like Kat playing damsel in distress with the hotel manager. It gave off the same weird energy as Dani with the cop. I would’ve much preferred the version Paul Raven suggested, with her sneaking in through housekeeping. • And yes, Dani again accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy—this time even specifying she might be using a pillow under her shirt. (No fake miscarriage being mentioned) I stand by my take: this is ridiculous writing. No one in the real world—except us, the chronically online soap watchers—would even think of such a conspiracy theory. Haley is no Beyoncé. • What in the world was Chelsea wearing in her hair the other day? And this whole thing with Madison is beyond cringe. Chelsea’s coming off as needy and toxic—basically like every other Dupree. • I’m glad the casino storyline is moving forward, but it’s still boring as hell. Honestly, I’d be so here for a plot twist where Vanessa and Doug take Joey out. • The direction and editing lately have been rough. Abrupt cuts, weird pacing… something just feels off overall. There’s a strange uneasiness to how it’s all coming together. • And finally: Tomas is too much of a saint. Where are the messy sluts when you need them? (Vanessa doesn’t count.)
    • I was watching some August 1987 episodes and they brought back so many memories. I had some thoughts: Lisa and Jamie were so dull. Lisa was such a nothing character. It boggles my mind that so much story was centered around her in such a short amount of time. Joanna Going is a talented actress, but the material was just not there.  It was so good to see Wallingford and Mitch again. I know there was talk about Felicia a while back, but these episodes reminded me how integral Felicia was for the show.  Sally Spencer was done so dirty. She is turning in superb performances in an icky storyline. I wish she had stuck around longer. She has chemistry with everyone. The McKinnons should have lasted longer. Spencer had some strong stuff with Stephen Schnetzer and Mary Alexander. AW waster such a talented actress by getting rid of her. Justice for Cheryl too. I also missed Ed Fry when he left. Sandra Ferguson was a star from the moment she came on. She was charismatic and just popped. She had immediate chemistry with RKK and blended in well with Wyndham and Watson. I'd forgotten about the teenage Matthew.  I have no memory of Peggy Lazarus. She must not have lasted long. Was the original plan for John that he was going to turn out to be the twins' real father?
    • If the new and improved copies that @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded can be manually moved into the "by month, by year" folders, that would be awesome. I personally don't think it's necessary to keep the older versions (which either have Dutch subtitles hard coded on them, or are lesser in picture quality). That's a lot of valuable drive space that could be cleared. Just my view but can appreciate others may feel differently. The structure had been by month by year previously, so I think it would be easier to conform to that, where so much prior work to get it to that format has already been done. Hopefully you can "drag and drop" so the new copies are in the right month/year? Re Clips, I never look at them now we pretty much have the episodes in full. Appreciate others may use, however. Thanks for all your hard work here @BoldRestless!
    • Oh yes defintely, Josh Griffith repeats and repeats the same storylines.
    • Isnt’t this storyline similar to the Cameron Kirsten situation though? Sharon thought she killed him. He ended up being alive and Sharon was being tormented with thinking she was seeing his face everywhere and that’s how we got that iconic scene with her and Nikki in the sewers.   I understand in Mariah’s case this is different circumstances but it does seem like a play on that whole thing. Maybe I’m wrong. I just wish if they were going to make any character follow in Sharon’s foot steps it would be Faith. Mariah wasn’t even raised by her, and her personality is different. I would expect her to take a different path. I understand I could be completely jumping ahead because the storyline hasn’t even played out yet but we’ll see.
    • Thanks again @Paul Raven Monica was completely without redeeming qualities at this point. I always found the whole Monica = Carly narrative regressive, as I don't think shows comparing characters so heavily is ever a great idea, but she's actually worse than Carly was. Was it the Pollocks who had Leslie have a miscarriage?  Giving her a child, especially by rape, was not a good idea, but a part of me wishes they'd committed to it just to see what story it might have had in later years.
    • @janea4old Your detailed explanation and delving into the psychology and motivations is no doubt the opposite of what we will see onscreeen. As @ranger1rg stated we will get a few scenes and some sketchy explanations. Like the adoption of Aria, most of it will take place off screen.
    • I'm suddenly fearful that DAYS is going to pull a Flowers-for-Algernon stunt and Bo's progress will be reversed.  While @te. is stuck on Abe's tiny bedroom, I can't stop thinking of the size of Bo's huge hospital room.
    • Okay, why are Paulina and Abe sleeping like that?!  I'd take a screen grab if I wasn't lazy, but come on.
