RHOSLC:

Mary in season 1 lived in her closet either because she was guarding the skeletons hiding in her closet or she believed her closet led to the magical land of Narnia.  Since then she's had a difficult time understanding the ways of our world....production and the other women should be there for her during this trying time.

Monica... chill out sweetie...you don't need to be so thirsty.  Sometimes that can come back and haunt you.

What is little girls.... I mean.. Whitney's purpose on the show?

Heather's daughters are more mature than Heather.

I think Angie K is Greek...but I could be wrong.

It's an astute move. Get ahead of the narrative, air your dirty laundry yourself and therefore control the narrative. As opposed to letting the other RHs write the narrative for you (think Denise and S10 -- and isn't it interesting how Kyle's SL this year sort of resembles Denise's).

An entire season (S4) involved a full cast gang-up on LVP for bringing up the affair rumors! I wonder how they will be handled this season. I expect Kyle never to confirm it directly, but she'll do one of those knowing drink-sips to imply, yeah, he cheated.

Mo's face dropped when she came back at him. He is no longer being protected by his wife to ensure their brand, and she seems really over him.

I did feel bad for her kids. I don't think their reactions were fake or scripted.

"IN BEVERLY HILLS, you can have it all -- but it only leaves you wanting MORE."

"I'm switching sides in BEVERLY HILLS, but the only team I bat for is my famb'ly's."

"IN THIS TOWN of secrets, I'm exposing my own!"

"IN BEVERLY HILLS, love is a price worth paying for." ~sniffle~

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Brought to you by Ozempic.

I'm here for The Fall of the House of Umansky. Yes, we'll get the usual "oh woe is me / pity me and my innocence" theatrics from Splits Richards, but it will still be delicious to watch unfold.  Rinna who?  Dang, Lips was hoping RHOBH would be a snoozefest without her. Considering it was rumored to be a ho-hum season until the Kyle/Mauricio news broke, I wonder if anything worthwhile will end up getting scrapped altogether.

Dorit's "story" is the post traumatic stress of last year's robbery. Hey kitty gurl, you may be on your 9th life with this series. [My prediction for 2024: Dorit and PK will "break up" or there will be "an affair" or something of that nature to keep her on the show]

Crystal is still there. Okay.

Sutton, who also looks thinner this year, showed up to work and continues to stir the pot and call a bitch out. Me likey.  And there's always Garcelle to co-sign.

Erika mentioning Denise Richards' $7 Onlyfans bundle, yet her Las Vegas show tickets can currently be purchased for as little at $7.00. Irony!  Her only redemption is her weight loss; not exactly personal character growth.

That said... I'll be watching! LOL

RHOBH's real-life dramas is what prevents this show from becoming too stale or long in the tooth. I don't think any whisperings of rebooting this franchise will pop up anytime soon.

    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
