It was petty as she did it to send a message. With that said, I dont think Magali is innocent as she has been passive aggressive. To me when you forgive someone, apologize and agree to move on, that should be the end of any beef. They had a truce and Magali struck back at her first. She is more in the wrong here as Dawn wasnt coming for her anymore. I respect her reasons for not wanting Dawn there (bc everything was still so new,she wasnt sure if she could trust her yet and it was small and intimate), but she should have explained that to Dawn. She seems to do that in the preview but IMO, that should have happened before the wedding instead of leaving her hanging the way she did. I love Magali but I gotta call it as I see it

And yes next week looks good! It looks like it could be Cheshire's equivalent to the "Dinner Party from Hell" or "Pillow Talk". Its going down!

On a side note, I think Lapdog has got to be my FAVORITE nickname in all the series. Its better than Moose, Jesus Jugs, Wig, Whorega, etc... I just love writing and reading it and I wish the ladies would say it more on the show. Lapdog...it just rolls off the tongue...lol

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I really enjoyed OC this season.  For whatever reason, the Vicki/Brooks drama each season is always fun to watch - we all know Brooks is disgusting and we've all been waiting for his time to get caught.  There is no way he has cancer given all the facts, and Vicki/Brooks brought this to the other ladies' lives on camera.  You can't blame the other ladies wanting to understand the truth and help their friend Vicki.

The ratings these last few weeks have been the highest the franchise has seen in many seasons - so there is no way we can say this was a failed season and they are at risk of being dead.  Hell, Bravo is now airing the entire Brooks interview as a special episode on 11/12 and then another episode of 'reunion behind the scenes' - they are milking the ratings since they've been high and this storyline has been in the mainstream media.

I loved it as well and dont see it as toxic and irredeemable as most here. The only housewife Id get rid of is Meagan as I think Vicki, Tamra, Heather and Shannon make for a good core four

I forgot to add earlier, but if I was Hayley Id be disgusted in the way Meagan exploited my mother's death for a storyline. Meagan came across pretty vile with that one

Lizzie should have been a housewife this season. Even if she didnt have much story to give, she could have definitely helped balance the toxic syndrome many felt as she and her family were always good for light hearted moments. Her interactions with the women werent about being malicious and nasty either.

Oh no I was just acting. And I don't think Magali is innocent either. But I don't think she should bend over backwards for Dawn b/c everything Dawn does is calculated. Remember when Ampika and Lauren and fell out with Dawn first season? She practically tried to mend fences with Magali to gain another ally on her side, but Magali was onto her. I do agree that Magali should've explained her reasoning for not inviting Dawn, but we all know production probably had a hand in Magali's presentation.

And Lapdog is a hilarious nickname b/c Leanne is the perfect example.  If people thought Cynthia was bad then they need to watch this show. Leanne is twenty times worse. And give it time. I am sure Ampika will add Lapdog to her list of names for Leanne like hoover. :P

      Yes, Nicole. DRAG HER!
    • Writers: Teresa Zimmerman Lynn Martin Director: Steven Williford
    •  Yeah, he is still dressed like Martin. He looks great, though.  Cute picture. Sober up, cause we need the tea.
    • Well, Claire did rig Rick's test results, but it was to flunk. They actually managed to get his correct results back after they were thrown into Cedar's furnace...I think? Everyone knew Claire changed them and Rick passed so that rewrite never made sense.   I agree. Pratt always seems "edgy" on screen (and her Locker Room interview prooved that it came from her personality.) I liked Claire causeing trouble and love Meta ringing her beads. Its just too bad that Abby left and they kinda just forgot Claire existed.
    • Oh so they did sleep together. The retcon was just the medical boards? That makes sense. I think Susan Pratt, while a good actress, was just an unlikeable presence onscreen and soaps wrote to that most of the time. There was some potential for more with her when she returned in that stint, as Pratt was at least interesting to watch and caused some conflict for the stifled Bauers. Instead of pairing her with Alan and then disappearing I might have had her hook up with Danny. I think there was a lot of flirtation with Bolger's Philip, but they never crossed the line.
    • I haven't seen Melchior in the role, but it would be astounding if she's worse than Linn. Her rivalry with Stephanie was sidelined IMO because Linn was one of the few actors who didn't have chemistry with, nor raise her game, when paired with Susan Flannery. To be fair, she did show some signs of life in scenes opposite Darlene Connelly, but way too little too late. It feels like Bell finally woke up after the Thorne switchover and sidelined the Kristin character with Mick to 1 or 2 appearances a week. As a result, the show improved by leaps and bounds after she was inexplicably at the center of the show for most of 1989. Margo is so much more enjoyable when not tied to that albatross. Even Clarke is watchable with less Kristin interaction. She can't exit stage left soon enough. As for the new Thorne, I agree that Norcross feels like a Forrester a lot more than Thrachta, even if the latter is a better actor.
    • The cast said that scenes were filmed over a few weeks, with a preplanned hiatus in the middle, and it was all out of order.  I would *guess* that they used Chandler when they could get him? They also had to work around Leo Howard getting married around the time these episodes were filmed, but I guess they worked it out since Tate appeared.
    • Maybe there was a scheduling conflict or something. He still has the full time 9-5 in Atlanta, right? Julie was there. Idk if Maggie’s gonna be a part of it though

    • Today Monday was the start of people arriving at the funeral, but the service hasn't started yet.  I know this is the nonspoiler thread but I think it's okay to say (in nonspecific terms) that the funeral episodes span a few days.  I won't detail it more here. Just sayin' keep watching.
