I know there are the preservation societies for films, but I was wondering if there was any type of website (beyond Wikipedia) which lists a lot of the lost movies or TV shows, and those that have been recovered, what some of the recovered films or TV shows have been. I guess I'm most interested to know whether or not they are still finding lost stuff. I know there is only so much to find but I hate to think that they aren't finding anymore. There are still so many old silent and early sound films, the Our Gang shorts, and so many old episodes of lost TV shows, like Doctor Who, Z Cars, the live anthology shows, et al.

Apparently, this might be about 30 seconds of film, from what someone else said.

The below is all that is available of Cleopatra for now:

Dynamite Smith, a film produced by Thomas Ince (one of his last films) and starring Charles Ray (one of his last big movies), with Bessie Love in support and Wallace Beery as the villain, was found earlier this year in the collection of the late David Wyatt. They cleaned it up as best they could and added some English translation for the Dutch subtitles. They also made it free on Youtube if you want to watch.

An episode of Workers' Playtime, a BBC radio show that was started up during WWII and stayed on until 1964, lifting the spirits of many during brutal times.

This is from 1949, and was recently found with help from a Radio Times campaign.

@VeeYou may be interested as it stars Beryl Reid, the doyenne of Earthshock.

I was randomly looking it up today and saw that it the newly discovered footage was uploaded a couple weeks ago. It almost hurts more that it's in such great condition. Starts at around :36.
