Can't comment on the ABC soaps but I believe Y&R is pretty dark right now as was ATWT back in 1996 with terrorists run amok(hello Kim's car bombing!) and then of course certain periods of Days.

By the way, although I don't read her column I do know who she is and I have to ask: what is her current opinions on Y&R?

Y&R is so hollow now I can't even bother to remember a lot of it. I think the discussion thread, or what's become of it, sort of says it all. ATWT was dark back then but for some reason all I remember is that damn treehouse sex.

I haven't read this article yet, but I do think Sara is a great, refreshing columnist, but she's gotten lazy. I don't think she has the passion for daytime anymore and it shows in her writing. I wish she did more interviews because I could see her asking the right questions and interviewing interesting people. I just don't think she wants to. I wonder if she's now doing it for the cash and is working on something behind closed doors.
