February 25, 201016 yr Member Then I feel sorry for those "total viewers" wasting their time on that Higley-penned dreck. WOW! And Days is number two right now! Days and OLTL are best things smoking! Sorry you not a fan, to each is own! I love days through ups and downs welcome aboard, Tuck!
February 25, 201016 yr Member Oh, I used to be a passionate Days fan for YEARS. But the show has gone downhill fast since October 2006, and firing the star of the show was the last straw for me. I hope this September is the end.

February 25, 201016 yr Member I liked her on OLTL and think she has a look that is different, but clearly there was something to her that hindered her career. When you think about people like Rena Sofer or Eddie Cibrian, who left soaps and continue to get TV gigs based on the fact they already had TV gigs (and really, has Eddie Cibrian had one success, or Sofer?) she has notand why is the question. That is how TV works in many cases, you have a gig that failed, but because you had a gig and are a known quantity you get other gigs. JT may not have had any other offers, and it is tough when you are not 25 and anorexic looking when trying to get roles. Well I wouldn't put Rena Sofer in the same catergory as Cibrian and Tuck. Infact Cibrian is probably the most successful of the three. After Y&R and Days Cibrian did Baywatch Nights(don't laugh) and then had success with Third Watch and a short-term gig on Ugly Betty and is on CSI Miami now. Tuck had her role on Judging Amy and then other notable gigs. Sofer however is nothing but the kiss of death to TV shows and her career hasn't advanced much. Notice how many shows have been canceled while's been on... Edited February 25, 201016 yr by soapfan770
