As a long-time viewer of both Days and B&B, I concur. Though I would give Hogestyn kudos for his scenes when John Black was hit by a car and lay dying in the hospital. I don't think Ronn Moss has ever delivered on a level where I genuinely felt for Ridge... Well, maybe when Caroline died, and that was all the way back in the 80s.
