Actually, I think I have that Emmy broadcast on tape, but not the episode with all the good stuff. I wish people were wise enough to see that when they hate on Lucci's acting for moments like these, they are totally missing the bigger picture of the Erica Kane character.

I agree. Lucci has definitely hammed it up with the best of them, but its scenes like that she truly shines. She is able to showcase just how vulnerable the character of Erica really is and how NOT in control she is sometimes contrary to the image she puts forth. Its amazing.
