Members JaneAusten
And I guess it's expected. All the publicity around their move and anniversery was bound I expect to attract those older lapsed viewers. But is this going to be good enough in the long run? Will they actually be able to gain in these demos?
Members dragonflies
The last time they were up in the demos, I mean really up, wasn't it for Jesse & Angie's return?
Members Angela
If the HH ratings/viewers remain up through March then go down from April thru August, it's simply a trend. AMC's numbers went up and were consistently over 2.6 million viewers from October 2008 thru March 2009. The over 2.6 million viewers trend started again in October 2009. The important demo is stagnant, but I do think the good HH placement and the viewers back up over 2.6 million consistently wont hurt the shows standing with the network. Though, it does seem that ABC already chose AMC over OLTL with the move. It doesn't appear any soap on the air will get good enough ratings to last a decade more. Yeah, about 2 months of 1.3-1.5 (3rd to 4th place).
