Best Holiday Episode 2009

Wondering what everyone thought of the holidays on the soaps this year. I'm just getting through the episodes online.

Here's my initial impression:

Y&R New Years Eve was a piece of horseshit...How did they get to this horrible state with 15 writers..wow. Amanda Beall's script was horrendous; the acting was unconvincing...the silent scream, the cocky Billy...painful to watch.

ATWT, very sweet group of episodes...loved the boring xmas day episode with lucy and emma...reminded me of the Irna Phillip's days when nothing happened but you enjoyed being with famliar tv friends.

DOOL...love the new angst ridden Bo/Hope...love the balls....I mean the Horton hung...I mean hanging the balls scenes...lovely...but the balls are so ugly.

I really liked the Holiday episodes DAYS aired. Bo basically dumping Hope on their porch was great, Vivian/Stefano/Kate/Victor was wonderful, the Horton ornaments, Julie screaming like a banshee at Bo, Nathan and Phillip going to jail. Overall, just very enjoyable.

ATWT's Christmas Eve eppy, with Brad saying his goodbyes. And Thanksgiving on ATWT was nice this year as well.
