I have seen Aisha Tyler's comedy routine. I don't find her particularly funny so finding someone funnier can't be that hard.

I think ABC will give OLTL and AMC a chance to settle in after the move to the new studios. The reduced production costs should buy them a year or two as long as the ratings don't collapse.

The ABC soaps are the safest on the air, IMO, and that's one of the few positive results of Frons's BSCness. He's obsessed with the shows, even if he's [!@#$%^&*] them up, and I don't see him dropping any of them right now because losing an hour of programming means losing an hour's worth of power.

What would be great to see is The View going into syndication to take Oprah's spot (on ABC in most markets) and then Aisha's show taking over The View's spot. Then this cloud of doom would dissipate a bit as long as the soaps hold steady.

Ee gads I hate The View. I hope they don't replace Oprah.

Maybe they can get George and Laura Bush to do a talk/news show hybrid. It can be a combination of the ever popular Elizabeth Hasselbeck and Bill O'Reilly.(except I do like Laura Bush)

Actually how about a View spinoff with Hasselbeck and someone like Alec Baldwin. 2 big windbags would probably do well. Well at least Baldwin has the ability to laugh at himself these days.
