I have always wanted the show to bring back this particular Martin. If they did, the show would probably de-SORAS him but I'm not sure by how much because de-SORASing him too much would put him around Tad's age or Erica's age and that would be too young. Then again, may be he can just fill the void left by Joe and not de-SORAS him

It would be nice to see a Martin from the past come back. Jeff did, but I didn't like the circumstances with which he returned.

That was the era when I was watching. Remember him with Margo? And I love crossovers in general, but it was so terrific to see him when Viki was on trial for Marco's murder at OLTL. It is sad that

even Dr. Joe will soon be no more

I know Bill showed up in Llanview twice. Once was after he left AMC. Does anyone remember why he crossed over the second time?

Paul Martin defended Viki Riley for the murder of Marco Dane. That was in 1979.

Not sure of the time or reason for the other visit.

Wow I'm honoured to answer some trivia you knowledgeable soap fans don't know :o It was in 1982 I believe, and Clint was on trial for the murder of Echo di Savoy (sp?) and his wife, Vicki hired her old friend Paul Martin, who was off AMC by this time.

He was terrific on AMC. Remember when AMC, and all the other New York-based shows for that matter, used to hire actors for their acting talent and not for their defined abs? They had such a wealth of talented theatre actors to choose from who wanted more stable work.

to be fair even the Broadway stage is more "abs obsessed" than it was. I'll miss when NYC has no more soaps--the fact hat a Broadway titan liek Marc Kudish randomly was on OLTL as a priest the other week is something I appreciate.
