You're right. IIRC, Margo had a miscarriage when Tom was aggressively cross-examining her (he did not know she was pregnant), although they may have worked around that somehow.

I think GL made a mistake putting Amanda through so much trauma in such a short period.

Marland sure leaned on the "woman goes a bit nuts" vibe doesn't he? I guess it went hand-in-hand for their endless need for therapy.

I think that the nutso story would have been more interesting for Amanda if it had contrasted with Carrie - maybe if they had met in the facility and that was Carrie's intro to Springfield, and we saw a codependent relationship between them.

Taye Diggs was cast for How Stella Got Her Groove Back around the time he was cast on GL, IIRC, so whatever plans they may have had for him were cut even shorter.

Probably because she was mostly there to cause problems for other character rather than be a character in her own right.

You mean between Harley and Phillip? 

I saw posts about Drew. Didn't she have some storyline about finding her birth mom and then that character left anyway? I watched some of those character brief YouTube videos.

She did, yes.

Harley and Philip, but she was thrown into that role with several other relationships in Beth's whole last stint on the show.

Beth lasted way longer than her original stint though. I always thought the fake marriage between her and Rick should have went on longer. Did they ever have them be friends again? 

I looked up about Drew and saw her storyline.  It was kind of a shoehorned role and all over the place.  The actress who played her was gorgeous though!

The soap critics adored Tammy Blanchard. So that may be why GL tried so hard to make the character work.

She went on to have a very successful post-soap opera career, both on Broadway and TV. 

Y'all, I'm now to the beginning of the Reva clone storyline. 🤣  I'm sure my thoughts will be all over the place as it goes along, but it's definitely 1) interesting/different, but 2) getting into DAYS territory and seems like a real stretch LOL. I didn't realize it was a spawn of Annie (Watros') exit storyline though - that part is interesting. I'm very curious to see how Reva survives this plane crash though LOL.

LOL - that clone seems pretty weak!

So Michael just explained to Josh how it will all work. It’ll be an exact physical copy, but she won’t have Reva’s life experiences. Ok, my question - how can you guarantee this clone will love Josh, and how would she have any memories of Reva’s, like if someone were to ask questions or bring up stories, could she contribute? Seems like it would be a dead giveaway to everyone...

Considering how many GL characters survive plane crashes/falling off cliffs/driving their cars into the ocean, it's the least unbelievable part of the story. 😂

Now that I think of it, they could have brought back Jackie, Mo, and Ross any old time. Wouldn't have been much more unbelievable than some of these other "resurrections."

Honestly, I think they had hoped to bring Jerry back, that's why no body was found. 

Explaining Maureen would've been a stretch (hey Rick could've substituted another dead body...he'd done it before)

@alwaysAMC yes, Josh is a total groomer.  Totally problematic in hindsight but he has some powerful scenes dealing with loss and reliving his life in a sense seeing clone Reva grow up.
