Like you, I am dubious. However, if it were going to be so, then it  - and only it - would be a real justification for a purge.

I'm so bummed about the Blake Marler YouTube channel. I was so delighted when I found it a few years ago and have been rewatching old Guiding Light episodes here and there. It's been great fun.

Spauldingfield YT channel has been posting episodes almost every day for the past few months. They're up to 1987 episodes now. Get over there while you still can. 😥

I wish we were, but sometimes I think if channels are around long enough they end up getting hit. There are a few ATWT and GL channels that haven't but they are rarities. Many of them are also clips only. Sometimes I think it also depends on whether they are still uploading (I don't know if Blake Marler was or not).

Maybe full episodes could go on Archive, while that is still around.

This is info about this subject that I have on the bottom of my Traders' List

Since April 2024 Sony has been actively sending cease & desist emails to posters who post DAYS clips. A theory had been floated that this very aggressive campaign across platforms is being mounted because of the upcoming 60th anniversary. I literally tell posters NOT to post current DAYS because of Sony. Karen literally saved 200 DAYS clips on Twi/X. Now only I have them. Karen & 2 other people who had ALL DAYS on Google drives, now do not have them, they’re gone. 

Personally I have received only 1 copyright strike on my Rumble acct & it was from Paramount+/CBS over BTG. (I am allowed 6.)

On my IG acct there is no penalty as long as you delete. (You choose Delete or Dispute.)

On IG I have been struck twice by Disney/ABC GH Carly current clip & Alexis/Kristina current clip. And, I have been struck 6 times by Sony/DAYS 2024 & 2025 clips. But, they've left alone all the old stuff., on IG, not so elsewhere.

I know! I watched the one that was put up and picked it apart out of shear frustration. There are more today, but only one I was interested in.

Yeah, this is not a good period of GL. 😂  The art theft story is the worst. I get that they're trying to do an umbrella story, but there are zero personal stakes (unless you care about Johnny Bauer saving his shapely ass, which I do not).

In 1987, it's Warren's club, the Blue Orchid. (It preceeded the Blue Moon, which Hamp and Fletch owned in '90. Chelsea also sang there. LOUDLY.)
