Members P.J.
Kimmer does seem like "that" kind of broad, who hangs with the guys. She certainly wasn't a delicate flower...those first couple of years, I was kind of shocked how physical both RN and JC are with her.
Members Vee
I hate to be the one to drop in with this, but has it been mentioned that at the end of Locher's interview Justin Deas informs folks he has stage 4 lung cancer?
Members Khan
WHAT?!?!?! Sigh. Thanks for sharing such awful news, @Vee. I'm truly devastated. Hopefully, though, he'll pull through. For his sake and for his family's, I'm definitely keeping one of my all-time fave actors in my prayers.
Members Vee
I can't say I'm totally surprised given his appearance, sadly. I'm sorry to have to break the news. He discusses it in the last 5-10 mins of the show.
Members DRW50
I kept meaning to watch but hadn't yet. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers, cliche as that phrase has become. I know he and his family are facing so many unimaginable choices. I see that during this part of the interview an old clip of Jerry ver Dorn randomly pops up, which is eerie, but comforting. I wasn't sure what he meant about not being in contact with his daughter - I'd need to go back and watch. Locher remains as awkward as ever, but you can see how some of the P&G actors do still trust him, and I don't think we'd be getting these interviews without him.
Members Mitch64
That's true..that scene when JC picks Reva up and just throws her...and Zimmer took it like a champ..which really added to Reva's allure. Some of Reva's best relationships were with guy friends...Fletcher, Phillip, Johnny. Rauch tossed all that out so that it was all men had to be IN LOVE with the goddess, and that lost a great part of her character that made her rootable. Reva the middle aged sex goddess was not. Terrible..we really are loosing so many people from our high school, college and young adulthood form the soaps.
Members Contessa Donatella
Someone I know has posted a 1980 GL episode with Kevin Bacon in it. Also a very young Holly (MG), Martin Hulswitt, Chris Bernau, that "Leaves" opening. I'm trying not to post links so here's the description, what you'll need to find it. It's on Rumble, the Rich Vernadeau Show - channel, video title is "GUIDING LIGHT May 28, 1980 full episode KEVIN BACON" Just thought some here might enjoy it.

Members Contessa Donatella
Oh, no, what a time for me to decide to leave at the 40 minute mark. DREADFUL news.
Members Khan
I don't think I can bear to watch. Not just because of Alan Locher, but also because I'm too devastated by the news. Justin Deas remains one of my all-time favorite actors in this industry. As I've said on many occasions, he might have a tendency to be self-indulgent in his work, but to me, he does the one thing all actors should do: he doesn't bore you. He makes you sit up and pay attention to whatever he's doing in the scene, because he's actually ACTING - meaning, inhabiting a character, making specific choices - and not just standing there and waiting to say his next line. God, the thought of him not being around anymore, much less not acting anymore, is just too much to bear. I just hope his wife and kids are holding up okay. Members TEdgeofNight
Justin Deas is incredible. I’ve met him 3 times. He’s actually very shy. I sent Margaret pics from the 1 time I ran into them together. A couple very much in love.
Members P.J.
Darn, I keep hoping for early June episodes to pop up---that's when Maeve debuted as Vanessa. But I'm sure someone will be happy for the find. For all my exhaustion with Buzz, this is news you never want to hear. With the recent DAYS and GH star deaths, I realized how lucky we are to still have so many beloved CBS vets.
Members chrisml
Vee, thank you for sharing the info re: Deas. I wish him all the best. I hope the craziness in this country does not keep him from getting treatment as I know it has delayed a lot of cancer treatment in certain areas.
Members Contessa Donatella
I went to one of the fundraisers held under the auspices of "Zas Angels". It was a reading of an original play by actors from New York soaps, (most GL, 2nd most OLTL) in a huge traditional auditorium which was packed!
