Ugh, Y&R adding MORE characters

Contracts mean nothing and apparently neither do emmy wins or talent.

Apparently not!

Yep, they want them young and cheap. Talent seems optional with a few exceptions.

And they wonder why daytime is in such dire straits!

Robert Newman or Stephen Nichols would be a welcome addition to the show as "Tucker".

However I am sure this guy will turn out to be another psycho, so... -_-

This character is propably being brought in order to "scare" Eric Braeden, the same way Patty Jane was brought in order to "scare" Michelle Stafford.

I remember there being a rumor that Y&R wanted a certain actor from Days of Our Lives , but he asked for too much money. I wonder if it was for this Trucker role. What kind of name is Trucker for a rich guy?

So lemme guess.

"Malcolm" will return to Genoa City to help rebuild the family once more. But then strange feelings between Devon and him will begin to grow so that they'll have a passionate ill-fated one-night stand, and Devon will leave town disgusted with himself?

Then, Malcolm will be shunned by the Winters family only to be forgiven by them when they discover that he has prostate cancer and may die and, oh yeah, never have children again. But, after chemo, he's cured and realizes that he's actually not gay and marries Sharon because of their strong connection to Dru.

All to occur from November-January, of course.
