Happy Friday, bitches. I was surprised that Brot and Taylor mentioned 9/11. I thought the show was a day behind.

I would guess the shooting schedule makes up for being a day behind at some point. They shoot 4 or 5 weeks ahead so it would be pretty simple to get back in line.

I liked the 9/11 mention, too, although it would have been nice if the writers expanded on it like the episode with Erica/Kendall a few years ago.

Taylor might actually get some edge back if she opens the bar she mentioned. Her conversation with Tad about how he has lost the will to fight for what he wants was the highlight of this episode for me.

I'm glad JR told Marisa about his cancer at the end.

I hate how David conveniently shows up whenever the plot calls for it. As Chief-of-Staff at the hospital, he should be too busy to pop by Wildwind and catch Amanda & Jake together. I'm disappointed that his revenge plan hasn't really succeeded in causing more suffering for everyone involved!

I did enjoy seeing Ricky Paull Goldin shirtless, though. If only there had been a butt shot!

I also thought it was too bad Brot and Taylor did not talk about 9/11 more. They didn't have to talk too long, but more than "yeah, it's 9/11, let's go get a beer" would have been nice.
