August 19, 200916 yr Member There are some really good Hubbard scenes today. Good performances especially Cornelius and Darnell. Enjoying Opal and Taylor.
August 19, 200916 yr Member I really hope they still utilize Opal when the show moves to LA. Do you think Dorothy Lyman would return? Actually, I can't see anyone except for Jill Larson playing the role. She has definitely made it her own.
August 19, 200916 yr Author Member They better keep Jill Larson. She brings the joy and happiness IMO!

August 19, 200916 yr Member Thank goodness a Zendall free episode. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but is BM actually getting better in the acting department?
August 20, 200916 yr Member I really enjoyed the Opal/Taylor scenes - they really work well off each other. Also happy that we had a Zendall/Ryan-free episode. The Hubbards were awesome (except Randi - that last scene was HORRIBLE when Frankie told her that he knows she killed North --- her reaction was terrible and made the ending of that episode laughable). But Darnell really sold it today - some of his best scenes of the year (finally!).
August 20, 200916 yr Member I think this baby story (which I liked a LOT better 15 years ago when Cassie did it on OLTL ) is doing Randi no favors, in fact I think her acting is regressing.
August 20, 200916 yr Member But Darnell really sold it today - some of his best scenes of the year (finally!). Yes, I agree. Those could've been just throw away scenes for him. But he really reacted the way a typical person would act in that situation.

I think Darnell is only as good as his acting partner. With Debbi & Cornelius, he can be great but put him with Denise and he sinks to her limited level. I just wish there was one current storyline that keeps me tuning in these days, but they currently all suck!
August 20, 200916 yr Member Opal was a major hypocrite in this episode (she gave birth to Tad, so I'm not exactly shocked). She says that the way David handled the grief over losing child after child after child says a lot about his character. Hmmmm... I wonder how she'd feel about the character of that son of hers who tortured and killed a man all because Greg Madden helped Dixie put Kate up for adoption?

BTW, this would be a good time to bring him back. Maybe a love triangle between Adrian / Angie / Jesse?
