Ha....I love it that OLTL is the top-rated ABC soap for the second straight week.

So do I. I'm so tired of this show being the ugly step child. Let's hope that Fronz turns his attentions over to AMC and GH and leaves OLTL alone.

I'm one who's watching B&B for naked Brandon Beemer.

He and Lesley Ann Down are really steaming it up!

And, KKL was really terrific last week, I think a few more Brooke fans would have tuned in for those scenes.

how bad is it that DOOL is still #3 in HH even with only 3 episodes and wimbledon?

I want Frons to leave GH alone too :D

I think the whole "OLTL is the red-headed stepchild of ABCD" is greatly overexaggerated by viewers. I think by and large, ABCD has no favorites and is just about equally indifferent to all three.

Even though these weeklies are mostly just random fluctuation, I am surprised by the B&B rebound over last week/last year. I wonder what happened? There wasn't any great big story last week. Just Bridge breaking up for the hundredth time.

Why does everyone keep saying B&B rebound last week cause it didn't it's been going up 3 weeks in a row, but they did rebound from last year.

Was Brandon Beemer in his underwear in any of those episodes? That's one of the rare times lately I want to tune in.

I'm actually pleased Y&R went up, because I would like to believe that is due to the focus on the Phillip secret being revealed. I don't know what was on Tuesday's episode, although I know many of you have said that the individual daily ratings are meaningless.

I'm impressed that OLTL managed to hold the lead over AMC and GH. On the one hand, I can see Frons saying it was all due to Starr/Cole or Todd the womancrusher, but I still want OLTL to succeed and I hope they will not get the wrong idea about what they should showcase.

Phillip's secret was revealed this week not last week.

Phillip's secret was revealed this week not last week.

The buildup was last week.

I am SO happy to see O.L.T.L. doing so well in the ratings! Also really great news that most soaps are up not only this week but from last year as well.

Someone above asked about 4th of July ratings last year. Here are the ratings for last year and the week after:

As you can see to brag about any showing being up from last year is not much to brag about. All the shows did very bad this same week last year.

So GH has lost nearly a half million viewers since last year? Geez.

  • Member

I have always believed that GH would be the last ABC soap standing, but at the rate it is losing viewers, my doubts are growing.

I always wonder where all those people go. Change the channel in disgust? Go run an errand? They got jobs?
