I'm using adblock plus too and I just tried disabling it which helped a teeny tiny bit but not enough to leave it disabled. I liked SON better before this upgrade and Invision Boards should have done better testing before releasing this new version.

I agree, and disabling only helps a teeny bit, not much overall.

Something is going on and it needs to be fixed

There are two things I'm going to see about getting done this weekend. Another new version of the board is out, so 1 is to upgrade to it. 2. is to have Invision check out our Database and see if there are any issues within it.

Okay, yesterday I had everything uninstalled from Firefox, Adblock, Google and Yahoo toolbars and the page loaded instantaniously. I load them back on and same problem occurs.

I have something with my anti-virus called "Private Browsing" I turn that on and the main page loads instantly. What the heck is going on? LOL

Not that I'm complaining, it's just so freaky
